Hello. I play with a controller and I want to put potions on my controller but drag and drop does not work. I wanted to put potions on RB+A but it does not work.

    You do it literally that way you described. You likely have the skill bar/hot bar locked tho so you can't edit it. Check the bar lock icon (one of the 3 small ones).
    Also even tho it's possible doing on controller alone with the stick, I do suggest interface to be managed with a mouse, that is until (hopefully) we get the console optimized interface for controller on PC too.

    Thanks. You know what the issue was? When you play with controller, you have a hotbar in form of a controller right? I was drag and dropping the items there but that did not work. What I had to do was to put the Items on the hotbar for the keyboard and THEN they appeared in my controller hotbar. So For example I wanted to use Potions on RB+A right? I had to drag and drop the potion to the keyboard hotkeybar 2 so that I can use it with RB+A. Really wierd

    Oh I see, found out the issue.
    Yes, you cannot drag and drop to the controller UI, you drop into the normal keyboard bar, and it will show up on the controller one instantly. It does make it a little of a guess-job to see where it will end up at 1st before you get used to the positions of controller relative to the UI bar (even I don't know it).

    One small thing they could change as well indeed, to get out of the guessing or searching around.

    That "small" thing would be a HUGE help if they can change that. Otherwise the game is playable with the controller. They could look FF14 over its shoulders. FF14 did everything right with controller funtionality imo.
