Re: We should get Seth before Bai.
Seth is literally the most disgusting character Naddic has ever dared to produce. With that being said: No.
People have been patiently waiting for Bai anyways and she's delayed.
Don't act like you speak for the majority when we all know who the community wants first. ![]()
Re: Bai Release Date Discussion
The reasons why people lazy to reply as we have already mentioned what we needed to say earlier for those who are anticipating for Bai. Our conclusion is final in regards of what other people that start to bash on Bai on those who are waiting for Bai and we need not answer to them
As we felt that we have no need to debate with the rest that talk with their own ideology.
Actions proof louder than words.
Hope this clarify
Re: Bai Release Date Discussion
If you guys felt that the so called statistic is so accurate, then follow it
. No bad feeling. Meanwhile lets see which will be more accurate. The players that voice their concerns on Bai earlier and those who are ancipating for Bai or just the statistics is more accurate. This will be my final post/reply here.
Re: We should get Seth before Bai.
Steps to play Bai right now:
- Be Yuri.
- Equip Winter Icicle Katana and Gun.
- Use Cybernetic Eyes.
- Remove all gun skills from your mapped keys.
- Pretend the gun isn't there.
- Program and add in some ice effect mods. (Alternatively, drink any cold beverage with ice in it.)
Wow, you can really feel like you potara-fusioned with your sister and became the 10th Division Gotei 13 captain! EZ.
Now give us Seth first. :^)

I know! Lets have a competitive event for the Bai and Seth release. Players can grind for tokens in-game that can then be used to craft Bai or Seth boxes for a week or so. Whichever character got more boxes will be released next. It'll be a fun event that will bring the closers community together and is fair to everyone, no?
I will take this into consideration. Thanks for your fun and exciting suggestion!

Re: Bai Release Date Discussion
Before I start, I have something to clarify with people.
I have always had a VERY SOLID UNDERSTANDING as to how the game has gone and its way forward MONTHS (6+) before I have attained the position of Player Council. To the point where I was able to talk with the Product Manager in regards to content pacing and the future of Closers and be able to keep up and have a nice discussion in regards to it. My comment in regards to my talk with that Product Manager was done BEFORE I gotten the CPC position. I personally find it extremely offensive and blood boiling that people would think I was using my "supposed" power as a CPC to talk to the Product Manager and IMPLY that I was steering the game that way.
The accusation that I was somehow "abusing" my supposed "power" as a CPC is indisputably wrong in all sense of that word. As I already outlined, I was not a Closers Player Council Member when I talked to the Product Manager Repeating it? maybe. But I have to make that very clear. Now, lets move on
I have reflected on my post, re-read it, and read feedback in regards to it at the #closersgeneral section of the EME Discord (shoutout to Vanhause and others!) and read the quick and hard dissociation in regards to my post.
It is clear to me that I have underestimated several things in how my words and intent could have been interpreted and taken by others. For that, I do sincerely apologize.
Re-reading my post, I have come to realize that it seems people has taken the "Personal opinion" part as indication that I had no intention of bringing to the Staff's attention this thread and the community's opinion. I had every intention of bringing this thread and your opinion to the staff in its entirety, irregardless of my own personal opinion for that matter. It is clear to me also that, if I have taken out the bit in regards to my "personal opinion", the post would have been taken and understood for what it was.
What was it?
It was a multi-faceted attempt, but the main goals for it are:
1) To break up the tension and tempers flying by providing humorous and satirical take on what is being observed on the thread via pictures that would be cute and classical without being overly offensive or mocking on its artistic expression.
2) To let users know that the Bai Winchester release decision is NOT something that is done out of a arbitrary whim. It is a thought out decision going forward with content and giving background as to why it is
3) Lastly, it is to softly reprimand users that such environment that is festering in this thread is really unbecoming of community members. This is not only directed to those who are expressing dissatisfaction and frustration in an unacceptable manner and echo-chamber escalation, BUT ALSO for those who were doing some instigation of the sentiments that are detrimental to the atmosphere for this thread.
It is clear that I have failed in being clear enough that expressing your opinion of any sort is still acceptable. it is actually needed, wanted, and what a community is expected to do. I have failed to emphasize that it is the disruptive and toxic behavior are the unwanted behavior. For example:repeating the same sentiment over and over again with no clear directive but to merely make it heard, spreading to other threads as an effect, is the unacceptable behavior. This goes also to those who would use undue language and overtly and clear instigation just to be contrary to other's opinions. Both sides are unwanted and un-needed. With my decision to include my opinion piece, I was also put on the latter group.
I have to repeat it again, but it was poorly explained that the said "meeting" with the Product Manager has been done MONTHS even before I have gained the position of Closers Player Council. This lead to people crying foul and power abuse. While, as expressed, that it makes me extremely unhappy to be accused of power abuse, part of the blame can be laid to myself for poorly pointing out that aforementioned fact. For this, I sincerely apologize.
I also realize that the backlash on myself will reflect on the fellow Council members. I sincerely, wholeheartedly, without reservation, apologize for this.
I frankly should have put more thought into that post. Should have realized that by putting the opinion piece, it turned the entire tone and expectation of what was the message of the post and allowed people to misinterpret of what I intended. I should have added more clarification so misinterpretation would have been impossible. I should have pure more words so I could have pointed out key facts that I let out by mistake.
What could be done after this?
Community members can rest assured that, despite my own personal opinions, I am able to differentiate "Rumor's Opinion" from "The Community's Opinion" and be able to express both in an equal fashion when needed. Also, the community can rest assured that I will (and have, thinking on it) be continuing to express the community's opinions and requests in a fair and unbiased manner. This also includes the Bai release date feedback, naturally.
I will keep in mind that personal opinion has no place in any way shape or form in a role in which you are supposed to be the representation of the community to EME. I will endeavor to keep that in mind going forward and will try my hardest that, if in public, I will keep my opinions to myself and represent the community and EME as is due with a CPC member.
I have failed in what I intended to and representing the community effectively.
I have also let down my fellow council members and EME. for these, I really do apologize.
(I might not even survive being a CPC anymore lol)
Re: Bai Release Date Discussion
Well I am not really the kind of person who would quit due a character delay. Still, I can't deny I was a bit hyped about playing Bai, so this is not something that would make me happy.
One thing that I feel the need to point out however: At some point in this thread, some people claim that the ones complaining about the delay are entitled, and that in Kr version it takes like year to release a character. A person even say to others to: "Wait for your damn character and stop whining."
Now I am not going to comment about the people complaining, nor will I atack anyone, 'cause everyone is entitled to their own opinion.
However, I don't really think that the whole "Kr version taking longer" could be applied as a valid excuse for this sort of problem.
If we use that kind of logic then bai, seth and whatever other new thing they bring should be released by 2024 or even longer.
Don't get me wrong, I am not saying that everything should be released super fast. I understand that if they catch to Kr version, it is kind of bad in the long term, 'cause in the end people would have less things to do when the game runs out of content, It also would be more trouble for naddic due them having to double check our version allong with the kr one.
However, expecting that our version character release is with the same time gap as Kr was years ago would not be the smartest thing to do. The reason for this simple: While our version of this game is not so old, the game itself it is not new, if we add to that the fact that the game does not really have a large population (they are merging servers for a reason), the graphics are not the latest coolest thing out there, that there are other version of the same game, and that there are other games coming every year. We would go in to a situation in which people would get bored, with nothing to do and then quit to: either go to another version or to other game.
Does this mean that they should release character super fast?
No, maybe they could slow down a bit, but not put a huge gap between each character, after all one of the fun things to do is to create and play new characters. Also this is one of the main reasons why some people even charge money.
Should they delay some other content?
This is NOT a fact, just my personal opinion on the issue:
What they really should delay a bit: it is content related to farming stuff and gear progress. With this I am not saying that they should put a huge gap between each gear and level. But at least my take on this is that if you release new gear super fast, you put your player base in a sort of Lose-Lose situation:
- On one side you have the people who is maxed at everything, this people sure want to get new gear fast, but since they are the strongest people on the game, they have no problem farming the new content super fast, and get bored really soon.
- On the other side you have the people that takes more time to farm their gear. This people feel that all their effort is wasted when they realize that there is new gear that render obsolete the stuff they didnt even finished.
What about those events they do every month?
I know that some people don't like them or don't care about them, but for me they are fun. Specially when the event have a good drop rate of items like fuels, fibers and other stuff.
Keep in mind that all what I say above is nothing more than my personal opinion on this issue. I have NO relation with enmasse or nadicc of any sort. Also while I may disagree with some people here, it is not my intention to insult or attack anyone. I feel the need to point this out, mainly 'cause I see some people really mad at both sides of the argument.
