Hey everyone, Community Manager BearShoes here! It’s time for me to step in and comment on a couple of things.

When we announced the current Dev Roadmap for Q1/Q2, I knew that Bai would be a hot topic, and as such I’ve been keeping an eye on the forums, our discord, and other social channels to ensure that we’re getting as much valuable, constructive feedback as possible. It’s important to note that Bai was not delayed. A delay implies that there was a scheduled date that was pushed back due to unforeseen circumstances. Bai’s release is on schedule for Q2 and according to plan currently, and we do not see any blockers that will result in her delay.

I also want to note that there is a TON of content coming to Closers, if the current Dev Roadmap hasn’t made that clear. Things like the Divine Battle system, the launch of Season 3, the new Task Force promotions, a boost to max level, new event dungeons...the list goes on, and that’s just in the first half of the year! Characters have never been the only major pieces of content, and that will continue to be the case moving forward.

Now, this isn’t to brush off or push aside anyones concerns. Quite the contrary, it brings to light that you have feedback for the game, and want your feedback to be heard. From my first day as CM on Closers, I have always publicly told the community that constructive, informative feedback is the most important thing that we can receive from you. And while feedback doesn’t always mean something is going to change, it can lead to some great, healthy changes in a game (just look at the stamina removal, which was completely driven from feedback from the community)!

You are not yelling into a void, and we appreciate your feedback. I do have one more thing I need to say, though.

Attacking others is not and WILL not be tolerated. You all have different opinions (some express them more passionately than others), but constant attacks on each other, both major and minor, will result in thread closures and punishment. Some of you have already received these messages from our helpful forum moderators, who are also trying to keep the conversation to the topic at hand. It is up to you all, however, to keep this forum, and this thread, helpful and constructive to any who read it, whether it’s us here at EME, the development team over at Naddic, or your fellow players and community.

Another note: there is no one here that can use their position to be more “heard” than others. The partner program is directly related to streamers and their love for the game. The Player Council are members of the community that help us in various ways, specifically because of their love of the game. Forum moderators are volunteers that have offered their services to help clean up the forums and keep them inviting and fun for everyone, because of their love of the game. You all have just as much of a say as anyone else, because you ALSO have a love of the game, and want to see it be a place that grows.

I will be moving through this thread to remove insulting language and deleting attacking posts, as well as deleting other duplicate forum threads on this subject. We want to keep things on topic, and either positive or negative, it should be constructive.

We're NA, not KR. We should differentiate ourselves with the character we really want. Seth has it all. She's got cute, she's got angst, and she has AWWOOOO. Bai is like Yuri with the Cyber Eye Contact equipped and some ice effects. You can pretty much play Bai already with said eye accessory and any average overlay with some ice splash effect, please. Seth though, now that's something all to itself.

I'm happy Bai is coming out later personally, I have more time to farm items for her now.

I'll keep my comment limited to simple opinions.

If you feel that the planned release date of Bai is too far off for you, far enough to get you to quit, then you have all the rights to do so, and express your discontent with Enmasse's decision.

On the other hand, please make sure your opinions don't come across as threats. Some individuals (you know who you are) appear to be trying to pose their decision to quit as a threat, by using the fact that they spend large amounts of money on the game and Enmasse potentially losing that money as a weapon.

Stop. This just damages your credibility and makes you look bad. It is all the more likely you will be ignored as someone just throwing a tantrum rather than expressing a legitimate concern.

Don't like that Bai is being delayed? Good. Me too. Let's get that across in a nice, reasonable fashion and maybe Enmasse will take our concerns more seriously.
