Re: Bai Release Date Discussion
"Representative" of EME should always practice on fair and partial.
Voicing out of concern is a rights that every players here have. Be glad that we the players are still here to voice out their opinion and you should take us seriously and also to understand what is the concerns we players are facing/happening.
A representative are here to listen to us and work with us closely, not to trigger a fight with us unnecessary which if thats the case. Tell me what is EME Representative for? To chase off potential customers?
To those who mention to me earlier on do not mention I am a cash player etc, credible or not. I will now be clear on telling you. I am a person not just say without action. People who know me will know what I said I will do it.
My true intention is not here to create problems to EME that Cash players going to quit without a determination. Every words stated here claim with absolute determination and Resolution that not just me but my friends and some other players are going to do it if we finds that ours (Players) Voices falls under deaf ears.
So question is, why does EME representative in the first place want to make things more worse when the players are here to voice out their concerns?
So it is EME Representative duties to shut us up as a players that our concern are not Important? Then why do we need EME Representative for?
Isn't EME Representative here to listen to us players and work it out together for an amicable solutions?
That will be my questions right back to the EME Representative. And thanks @Hime for your clarification earlier.
Re: Bai Release Date Discussion
No point comparing the release date in KR with NA, since the point of games being released in other regions is to try and catch up to the main region to an extent. The only thing worth comparing in this scenario is the number of days between character releases on NA prior.
We've had consistent 1.5-2 month releases between characters and it's suddenly jumped to 4-7 months for characters which is what should be compared. Characters shouldn't be treated as content to be delayed at all since people who will play it will certainly have something new to do (content) but a majority of the people who don't care about playing the new character outside of some leveling rewards won't really care for it.
Re: Bai Release Date Discussion
Personally, I was ready to wait, it just stings a little that it's this "big" of a wait..I had stuff ready to grem box over but I was halting my other char's progression by doing that, now it doesn't really matter because I can just farm that all back again. Overall it just hurts, I wish Naddic would approve of letting Bai get released earlier but oh well.
Re: Bai Release Date Discussion
For the people complaining about the "delay of Bai" I have a few things for you.
1: BAI HAS NOT BEEN DELAYED. BAI IS NOT LATE. ANY CLAIMS OF BAI BEING IN JANUARY OR FEBRUARY WERE ENTIRELY SPECULATION. THERE WERE ZERO CONFIRMATIONS FROM EN MASSE ABOUT BAI'S RELEASE DATE. THE BEST WE HAVE IS APRIL-JUNE ON THE ROADMAP.
2: For the people who are complaining about EME having slow releases, a friend of mine and I pulled the release dates for all characters, and the release dates of quite a few raids from both servers. Here is the data, as well as how many days apart each release was:
As you can see, the games were released nearly 3 years apart. However, over time we've closed that gap tremendously. In terms of character releases we went from being around 2.86 years apart to 0.72 years apart over the course of approximately 1 year. In terms of raids we went from being 1.74 years apart to 0.61 years apart over the course of approximately 1 year. Keep in mind that with relative time data like this, you have to factor in the passing of real world time. That means that for character releases, in the time that KR had 1 year of character release content we caught up on 3.14 years of character release content, and in the time that KR had 1 year of raid release content we caught up on 2.13 years of raid release content.
We're getting raids twice as fast and characters three times as fast.
There's also one other saving grace for Bai players: There is literally zero chance that Seth comes out before Bai. If Seth does I'll dismantle all my gear on stream.
Re: Bai Release Date Discussion
The person above (Rumour) has a very responsible use of images, and likes to clutter up space. Not to mention, using images to describe other peoples feelings. Not one image, not two. But 6. Really now. And the classic tea sip. You are so out of line with what you're posting.
Let's look at things calmly. Do you think your response would make people relax? Do you think your response, with all of its somewhat passive aggressive remarks in the form of images and more, would appease the people? Do you really think posting reaction images, that only add fuel to the fire to what they absolutely imply, would have made people calm?
You can try to see things through a lens of rationale, but what you did isn't making people happy.
You did the equivalent of spitting in another persons face, and rubbing it around.
Instead of being for the players, you essentially did the opposite. "I personally talked to the product manager to slow it down."
While this in itself is not bad, it's heavily subjective to WHAT content is being slowed down. Perhaps another character to you, one you may not care for, but a potential main, and a character people have been waiting for, for others.
Devaluing the feelings of others is not the way to win someones favour. I can tell you that much.
Perhaps you should've considered what everyone else might've wanted, too. Since you're one of the representatives of the community, I feel like it's more than reasonable to ask that. Don't bother replying back to me though, if you cannot see what you did was wrong.
Next time, you should maybe keep it short and simple, something most people can agree with, get a decision from what most of the community agrees with, and then move forward. All you showed here was that you acted on your own, from what seems to be against the community.
All in all, congrats on losing more players on your attempt of controlling the crowd. You failed.

I apologize for the fact that an EME's representative has made you feel disappointed, upset, and so on. Please take note that not all representatives such as EME Partners and/or Closers Player Council members feel the same way as the previous post, nor do we want to come off as condescending. Having community members bash others valid concerns as if they're not important is not the message one attempted to convey here. Yours, alongside others, anger and disappointment is entirely and utterly understandable. Character releases are arguably one of the most exciting things regarding Closers, and to have it suddenly be much later than what one would assume can easily come off as a shock.
Please take solace knowing that no one's feedback here regarding this topic will go ignored. EME handles feedback very seriously, be it positive or negative, and then proceed to look forward to a potential solution. It is our role as council members to rely the feedback back to EME and then proceed to speak about it via meetings. However, please take note that nothing is promised. While this topic will be spoken about, I'm afraid I'm not able to promise that Bai will release earlier despite feedback, and to that I apologize.
I ask everyone to continue providing feedback to the topic at hand. Again, you are free to agree or disagree as that is your opinion as long as it is constructive. Thank you. ![]()
