Yes it's a DLC ( aka you can also buy on steam) and it will work for Bai.

Eh. Most MMOs ban this for a reason. It's just downright unfair since more often than not it's not somebody selling their old name, but rather just hoarding names to profit off of. Especially when it comes at the cost of EU player losing their names, it's basically staff approved cheating - you can profit easily by stealing somebody's username, then giving it back to them (after they've grinded out credits and you've done nothing, of course.)

It's just morally wrong and I think even the idea of supporting it currently reflects back on the company badly. It wouldn't be so bad if EU players didn't have their usernames basically stolen and old accounts purged, but as of right now.. I'd say put a ban on it, even if just temporarily until a solution can be thought of. Otherwise, you're supporting a handful of players who have the time to create mule accounts, hoard tons of usernames, and then just... be rewarded for it? Seems iffy.

This game was published for EU/NA by the same company, there is nothing like refugees, the original plan with EU/NA seperation was to provide better ping and attract more players. In the end their plan didn't work and they chose to have a single server to reduce the cost of maintenance. It's not like another company took over a server that didn't belong to them so your whole point is void in it's entirety. EMEs only option was to transfer the data from EU to NA. Had they simply chosen to delete EU data completely, they would've lost more money and probably lost any credibility as a publisher.

Proper compensation is to give players access to what they lost or something equal. The lost progress has nothing to do with the materials that we got as compensation but with rewards like phase wings/purification accessories, some malek boxes and other minor things. There is only one perspective to look from and that is the perspective of everyone who lost a huge amount of progress up to several months.

I support the idea. Love it. I think we should think we should think about how the event idea will work in detail. Would it just be running Puri and getting token drops to craft items? How long would this event run for knowing that we have daily limits? What other rewards besides Puri Phase wings and the two accessories?

This is a very great suggestion, I like it a lot, especially given what happened as a result of the Server Merge. It makes sense as a compensation, and hopefully a start to rebuilding any lost trust with EME that EU players understandably feel. While I'm not sure if it's an event that can be in the next patch, as there's also planning Naddic themselves have to do, I do believe it should still be done nevertheless.

I've passed this suggestion off to EME and I'll be talking about it during our weekly reports. If you, or anyone, feels that there's more to be said on this topic please feel free to comment.

no wonder the game goes south when EME supports things like this which upset players which in the end leave the game, and doesn't make other players stay or join the game, 10/10 good work there

Since EME did not decide to restore purification progress to players, I would like to suggest an event as a compensation.
The event would look like the following:

The Purification Ops sent a distress call

Hello Closers,

The Purification Ops needs your help. A rising amount of dimensional monsters is about to pass through various dimensional rifts, travel beyond the Purification Ops Gate and help defeat our foes. Battle against known forces like Tindalos, Harpas, Nitocris and Yod. You can participate when you have reached a minimum level of 80 and have access to the Purification Ops Center.

During the event you can obtain tokens you can trade for amazing rewards:

-Purification leg accessory and waist accessory (previously needed 150 clears of Harpas or Tindalos)

-A pair of phase wings (previously needed 200 clears of Harpas/Tindalos)

-Other random stuff

All rewards will be untradeable and unpackagable and can't be salvaged for chips/phase fibers.

Something like this would be nice, it gives the players that have lost months of progress the chance to obtain what they farmed for and don't have the will to farm more months for something they should already have but didn't get due to the merge. Also nobody from NA can complain that it is special treatment for EU player because NA also has access to the event.

I know it might not be the best solution but it's just something that came to my mind.

tl;dr: lololol EME doesn't even care anyways why am I doing this.

Normally updates take me 5-10 minutes of patching, but this one has been going on for 2 hours now and I'm at 91%. Took 6 restarts to get it to even start updating.
