Can We Talk About RMHM Drops...

Hardest dungeon in the game apart from HH, and the drops are horrible. This needs a fix asap @EME.
Five people fighting over 3 drops (2 handkerchief, 1 envy crystal) is not good enough for this dungeon, especially when you're limited to 2 a day (if elite) or 1 a day (non-elite) because the usual reset scrolls don't work.

Another thing is that with all these past and current server problems people also lose dungeon runs... This was supposed to have been fixed yesterday.

What do you guys think?...

  • It never drops 2 envy it's always 1 envy and sometimes if you're lucky 2 hankies. I do agree though considering how it's the hardest 5man dungeon it should have more valueble drops, but hey beggars can't be choosers

    1 hanki 1 crystal, if you are lucky, 2 hankis will drop.

    It should be 2 crystals at least since NM drops 1 crystal. Makes no sense for them to drop the same amount.

    I'm not completely sure what drops exactly, but the point is that it's not enough, I know for sure only 3 mats drop though, and that's not enough for the second hardest dungeon in the game.

    I don't run hard mode, my ms ping is high, my internet is crap, but the biggest reason I am not running them is b/c they are not rewarding with all the [filtered] I am have to deal with them, so I don't bothers. So I agree with this.
  • Dungeon drops in general are just poor. You just run them cause its the only way. Dungeons are only rewarding during double or triple drops where the chance of you getting a material is significantly higher some people even pass on the rest if they get one. But what can you do

    Exactly. I know it sounds messed up to say, but triple drop is legitimately how harder dungeons should be all the time, or maybe a toned down version of that. If five people go into a place and spend 45 minutes of their time in there, there's no reason that only one person should walk away with something of value. It's a system that creates bitterness and frustration, especially for people who have to rely on LFG for whatever reason, since you're severely limited to how many times you can go per day.
  • Yes. It really sucks. If you are making a weapon and would rely solely on RMHM dropping Envy Crystals to craft one (eg. not buying boxes / no battlegrounds), you would need 20 runs for one, AND that is if you win the roll in EVERY run. That's not the end - that is only ONE part.

    Even with a static party, if we consider that all of you making a weapon, it would take 100 RUNS so that each of you gets a weapon. A. Single. Weapon. Each.

    Of course this can be mitigated in some ways, like creating alts, but seriously - how many of us have alts that are ready to RMHM in a decent timely manner? What if I bought 100 Lachelith boxes and don't get one crystal? What if I battleground all day and still just get 2 for a character each week (BG credits limit) - and this is grasping on straws because we all know most, if not all, BGs are dead.

    All the same, it doesn't change the fact that you are running the second-hardest dungeon in game for a chance of ONE lousy crystal that you have to win against 4 other people.

    I support this thread. Please make.. uh, something, happen.
  • Every end-game dungeon has been like this on launch for a while now.

    If you're running it for the drops then.. yeah, you gonna have a bad time. I run it to deal damage and try to maximize my damage, the drop I get is secondary.

    Have you forgotten that there is a higher chance of dropping a design in rmhm ?

    And that'd be an interesting point if designs were even remotely valuable....or useful...
