  • Agreed.

Though many people seem to be down on power hours because BGs pop less often the rest of the time. Because, you know, getting people to queue at the same time in otherwise dying content is a bad thing or something? I guess having everyone queue in more spread out time slots and longer queue times is what these people want? I hope EME doesn't listen to them, keep doing Power Hours please! \o/
  • Everyone probably does.
  • Id love to see power hours on skyring because that place is pretty much dead, and I really enjoyed it
  • It does not matter if "we" want power hour, we will get one anyway. The whole reason Enmass is giving us power hour is do to all the messed up updates that have ruined pvp, with out power hour, pvp would is dead.
As for the idea of power hour for dungeons, you do understand that PvE is not dead, right?
You dont need a power hour for content that is already heavy in use, if it was not heavy in use, then this game really is tanking, lol.

The power hours should definitely continue at least until the we get the BG reward changes that just came to KTera, where battleground credits were replaced with rewards boxes. Once we get that, hopefully either the boxes will give the decent rewards BGs have needed for so long to keep get them popping, or if they aren't, EME will have control of the drop rates of items out of them, or can keep up power hours (now with extra winner boxes or something) if that's what's needed to keep BGs active.

BG queues were deader than dead the first few days of January when the December power hours had ended and they hadn't started the January ones yet, that's going to happen again until we get a February schedule. With pvp content pretty sparse and a relative lack of available rewards, power hours are pretty much a necessity. I've been enjoying being able to get into BGs again, even if it was only on certain days of the week for most of them, and I imagine most people who enjoy pvp feel similarly, so hopefully power hours will stick around.

As for dungeon "power hours," while I'm not exactly against it, it's a completely different situation than for pvp. Power Hours is basically life support for pvp content until they (hopefully) rework things and give more incentive to do pvp again. You don't need events to get people into dungeons though, so the occasional bonus drop weekend event seems fine for the pve side of things.

Also, please include a dedicated day for Gridiron in the schedule, rather than just a single day during the "variable" day. I did like the "variable" idea though, wouldn't mind seeing that again. And again, the power hours have definitely brought pvp at least part of the way back from the completely dead state right after Ambush came, so thank you to whoever came up with the idea, and please keep them going. I hope we'll get to see BG activity on the level of the Imperator patch again in the near future.
