Warrior vs ninja. Does it get any better?

I'm fairly new to tera and have been playing for about a month. My friend and i decided to make a new character, he made ninja and I made a warrior. We dueled at level 1 and i could barely even hit him. I know im not the best player, but still. I know it was just level one and obviously it will be different once we have some skills, but i know ninjas are known for doing crazy amounts of damage. My question is will i be able to ever beat him saying i'm a decent warrior. The reason i ask is because we duel so much when we play i wouldn't want to get stomped every single time forever. Also, is warrior in a good place right now? Also if anyone could link a recent warrior guide that would be much appreciated, most of the ones i find are pretty old.

    Any Dps class can beat any dps class, but at low levels it really depends on when you get some skills (Backstab, ect) and also depends on your understanding of both classes.
    Ninja is a very easy class to play with a lot of power, so at low levels they seems to feel a bit over power to the normal classes.
    Warrior how ever does low damage, but it has more defence, stuns, ect. As you level you will get key skills that will help you defeat any class.

    If it makes you feel a bit better, when i leveled a warrior i never lost to any ninja, even at levels like 20-60, ect.
    Tho the reason why was do to my understanding of both the classes fully, so keep at it, warriors are really powerful in 1v1 at max level.

    To shed a little light on your question, it's debatable of course, but Warrior is among the strongest PVP classes in the game, especially 1v1. It's even worse as a Ninja. The reason I say this is because they have a stun called Backstab that doesn't even really need to be aimed and is very difficult to iframe, that's usually followed up with tons of back crits, and then a nice long stagger lock once you finally get out of the cheap stun. Other classes can evade this, for example, Sorc has traps that you can just lay on top of yourself, but... Ninja? They don't really have a reliable way to stop it.

    Sure, you can iframe out of it, but a good Warrior will just force you to use your iframes, and then proceed to Backstab combo until you're dead. So to answer your question, once you hit max lv, unlock your glyphs, ect... it gets a lot better. You will most likely not find yourself losing to many classes except for Lancers and Sorcs mainly.
