Flying mounts, only 1 for free?

Hey. I just got the free (From quest) flying mount, and it's awesome!
But the one from cash shop are way faster when flying, is there another free flying mount that's faster or only one that are sold for EMP ?

    It's called marketing. Players will want the mount from cash shop not only because it looks different but it's also faster.

    I am glad it's faster! I just want to know, before I spend $40 of my hard earned money, that there is no way to get another FAST mount without spending money,

    Sorry if I sounded rude. I just wanted to make a quick comment as I'm not home, that is all.

    But I don't know any other way to get other 280 flying mount other than buying it. It's like that in KTERA too.
    I do know there are some codes for 7 day ones out there somewhere if that kinda helps, which i doubt.

    The one you get from quest is 270 speed. I'm just glad that it's not like old free 240 horse mount which was just painfully slow.

    If EME were to make some differences that'd be awesome though.

    But I'm willing to pay for one if I see one that I really like. I'm still waiting for either Skywhale or anything that matches my Pink appearance scheme like Friendship mounts.

    I am just wondering, the free mount says "Flight duration 416" and the pay one says "Flight duration 538"
    That's the flying speed when you Accelerate? or the time you can stay in the air? :surprised:

    Flight Duration means how long it can suspend in air as well as how long it can accelerate. It's basically Flight Stamina in numbers.

    I haven't really tested this as no one asked since the announcement of flying mount release so idk the difference in acceerated speed among different flying mounts.

    If you haven't noticed, there's Flight Speed stat under Movement Speed tab under your profile ( default : P ).

    I'm going to assume 280 flying mounts are faster in total travel (as they also last longer, they can fly further), but by accelerated speed, I can't really tell which is faster.

    Yes. I just tried checking the speed in the profile under Movement speed, It says 110 +160 and stays the same even when I Accelerate.
    So only way to check is by having 2 people race
    I think you just saved me $40 tho, I was sure the accelerate will make it speed of 538 instead of 416 of normal one (I thought it's a translation error haha)

    I haven't tested them head-to-head, but I flew around quite a bit with the free one before I bought Argo (the white lion).

    The cash mount lasts in the air a noticeably longer amount of time than the free one. It doesn't feel much faster while flying, and only somewhat faster while accelerating. The biggest difference I've noticed is how long it can stay in the air, the other factors seem somewhat negligible.
