Lancer is the best tank class. Zerk tank was only made to counter the release of gunners and massive flow of DPS in queue and offer nothing to their party. Brawler brings nothing but DPS to a fight, so calling them a tank, especially when they needed to change the aggro system of the game to make them viable, is a misinterpretation. Warrior tank is an overstatement, at one point they thought an evasion tank was pretty cool and then realized it [filtered] up the DPS to have the guy holding aggro constantly jumping around and moving/turning the boss, so they gave them a block. Unfortunately, they're in leather armor and are a DPS class so they're not meant to be a tank just because they have a tanking stance (Similar to the Berserker).

Want to tank but also support your party with decent DPS and strong party buffs? Play Lancer.
Want to tank but also contribute nothing but high DPS by rolling your face on the keyboard? Play Brawler.
Want to tank but also do little DPS and hold aggro sometimes? Play Berserker (Intimidation stance).

but brawler was able to stole aggro from lancer and shine like a supernova and sent all the lancers in the side line B)

It's impossible for a Brawler of equal skill and gear to take aggro from a Lancer without using shout or a death. Even before their damage nerfs all the high damage Brawlers played as a dps, and not a tank with a Lancer tanking.

so why when i used my brawler with a lancer in 2015 all the crazies boss run after me instead the lancer and i am sure a this time i used back crystal with my brawler and eclipse potion and pray than the boss run after the lancer and not after me ;)

"Equal skill and gear", most Lancers are bad, they just blamed Brawler, and guess what, they still do even though Brawler is trash now. If Brawler had higher aggro generation then DPS Brawler would be impossible to do, this is just common sense.

Too lazy to look up, but during that era BHS tweaked the game, as usual, to balance and the end result was allowing two tanks in a party. People were spamming 1 brawler + 1 lancer runs and the lancer would keep aggro for some reason, but in truth dumb devs messed with an algorithim to make that possible. Presently, as you can see and some time later they patched it to make solo tanking preferable. The goal of double tanking was to make enrage time nearly 100% and yes was fasterish runs due to insane Brawler DPS back then.

Also, again I'm not a warrior, but those parties typically had warrior in it to.
Think back then a warrior could switch stance in combat then enrage?
Whatever point is you had 3 ppl in party that could enrage at any moment.

Lancer could hold aggro because their base aggro generation was never lowered/balanced around the change in the threat system. They still kept their aggro modifiers both the base and the glyphs. This is why Lancers don't really have to really try much to hold aggro when they have it. Unfortunately this contributes to why most Lancers don't really do much damage... but oh well.

"Reduced Power and Crit Factor from 50 to 30." They also had damage to bosses lowered as well, lower damage=lower aggro generation. The 10% addition to GF was a compensation buff to make up for the lower damage. You should take your own advice.

http://tera.enmasse.com/news-page/patch-notes/patch-4206 This has a ~10% pve damage reduction for Brawler
http://tera.enmasse.com/news-page/patch-notes/patch-390705 Brawler's damage to bosses was reduced by 7.5% before that other nerf, this same patch massively increased Lancer's pve damage, Yosha said about 50%.

If you think adding 10% aggro to GF would make aggro more in favor for Brawlers after all the flat nerfs across the board two times, GF nerfs along with massive Lancer buffs then you are mistaken.

I use that guide you gave me Yamazuki, Having that one threat crystal helps. That guide that Ming made also helps a lot. I have noticed a huge different especially in the amount of damage I do.
  • U ain't doing [filtered] dmg in guile

Unless u talking bout NM which is irrelevant here of all places
  • Pick lancer if you have a party to support.
Pick brawler if you need to carry the party.

Well you would need perfect lancer to keep aggro. Anything less would be a struggle and easily shift aggro if brawler is going crazy. If you think about it, even though using eclipse, it still has some aggro percentage left over. So whatever high dmg they did, the multiply was so high that the lancer has to do so much and not miss a beat. All brawlers also have the 8.7 dmg aggro. When aggro shifted to them and if they did high dmg, this 8.7 percent is so big for the time being and makes it difficult for lancer to get aggro back. Lancer was still underpowered in 2015 so they had to still use aggro techniques more often and not miss a beat.
