Any word yet in regards to the release of this game? Has anyone heard anything recently, or was the whole thing about TERA 2 just all one big rumor?

    This is really an old announcement and it has nothing to do with Tera 2. No more news since. We won't see anything interesting until 2020 because MMOs take very long to develop.

    I also made this post but mind you that it doesn't express any new content except what was already officially posted by the BHS team.     Also, due to the fact that TERA's original project name was "Project S1", it's likely that "Project W" will not be a successor to TERA in any form. It could share similar concepts, game play design but probably won't share a lot of content to label it as a "TERA 2". However, this is just my opinion based off of the information I already have. Since there isn't any footage or concept art located anywhere on the internet for Project W, I have yet to find out what it will be like.

    BHS stated that neither project W or project EXA will be a sequel to TERA. They will have similar combat system but they will be in their own separate universe. The reason why we refer to project EXA as TERA 2 is because of some leaked renders and 3D models from one of the lead designers that showed clearly an Elin.

    Exactly, and then it was later confirmed that those leaks of renderings that we thought was Project EXA was really just a side project of one of the developers, and that all the renderings did not relate to both upcoming projects.

    Project EXA is now formally known as PlayerUnknown's Battleground, a Action MMO FPS/Survival with similar gameplay to GTA 5, Day Z and H1Z1; and with some help from other players on different forums I've found that what we're waiting for is Project W, what BHS claims to be "revolutionary" for the MMORPG genre.
