Well, I just want to point out that, although you may not be worried so much about how rewarding the event is and just want something to break the monotony, it doesn't take much time on the forum to realize that this community judges events overwhelmingly on how rewarding they are (whether they're "worth my time"). Any event that EME runs that is just to break up the monotony, but isn't more rewarding that the usual, gets widely panned. And the problem is, as we see from the strongbox event reaction, people don't need the normal lineup of consumables that are usually used as leverage for events because we just came off a major long-running event. I think it's possible to address this with a bit of creativity, but it's not easy.
And, well, this may be blasphemous, but I think it's okay for people to play other games when they're bored; I think it's part of a "well-balanced diet". If all you ever play is TERA, it doesn't matter how much they do; you'll still get bored. (Even in MMOs with more "content", this still happens. It's inevitable.) This month saw a number of very good high-profile game releases, and I think it'd be a shame if people missed out while simultaneously being bored/miserable with their "game of choice". I'm not saying I'm against more events to break things up -- on the contrary, I think it'd be great if there were always a little something different/special going on. But I don't think it's like "we need to keep people addicted to our game 100% of the time or we'll lose them!" Even in the best case scenario, they're not expecting to keep people entertained 24/7.
Anyway, either way, hope there's some more things coming.
Yup, I agree with you. I think it'd be great if there could be a calendar of what's going on in a month, and there was always something going on, even if it's little/trivial. I think EME puts a lot of effort into big events, and that's great, but the problem is that it tends to overshadow everything else, and makes "the little things" seem trivial/"bad" in comparison. But I'd rather see a lot of little things and the occasional big thing. But of course, that takes a lot of creativity and work to organize too, so easier said than done. But anyway, yeah, I agree.
No one cares for whatever rich says, I mean it is different on real life tho
Just get a life :v
Another Typical reply. I am workin from 7 to 11 hours a day, mostly weekends too. that is not the issue with having events or anything else.
