I don't cry for events to be rewarding or similar stuff, just at this point events is the only thing that changes the repetitive environment of the game.

Well, I just want to point out that, although you may not be worried so much about how rewarding the event is and just want something to break the monotony, it doesn't take much time on the forum to realize that this community judges events overwhelmingly on how rewarding they are (whether they're "worth my time"). Any event that EME runs that is just to break up the monotony, but isn't more rewarding that the usual, gets widely panned. And the problem is, as we see from the strongbox event reaction, people don't need the normal lineup of consumables that are usually used as leverage for events because we just came off a major long-running event. I think it's possible to address this with a bit of creativity, but it's not easy.

And, well, this may be blasphemous, but I think it's okay for people to play other games when they're bored; I think it's part of a "well-balanced diet". If all you ever play is TERA, it doesn't matter how much they do; you'll still get bored. (Even in MMOs with more "content", this still happens. It's inevitable.) This month saw a number of very good high-profile game releases, and I think it'd be a shame if people missed out while simultaneously being bored/miserable with their "game of choice". I'm not saying I'm against more events to break things up -- on the contrary, I think it'd be great if there were always a little something different/special going on. But I don't think it's like "we need to keep people addicted to our game 100% of the time or we'll lose them!" Even in the best case scenario, they're not expecting to keep people entertained 24/7.

Anyway, either way, hope there's some more things coming.

@counterpoint I get what you mean. But weekend events can be done in moderate way. I have said it people cry whatever event EME ran and you are right. But that crying needs to be ignored. because some event, even small ones around game play is way better than no events. That is what I am saying.

Yup, I agree with you. I think it'd be great if there could be a calendar of what's going on in a month, and there was always something going on, even if it's little/trivial. I think EME puts a lot of effort into big events, and that's great, but the problem is that it tends to overshadow everything else, and makes "the little things" seem trivial/"bad" in comparison. But I'd rather see a lot of little things and the occasional big thing. But of course, that takes a lot of creativity and work to organize too, so easier said than done. But anyway, yeah, I agree.

This generation suck... Event! Event! Need a Event!! PLEASEE!!!!!... Stop. Jesus..

yeah, OK, so you want ppl this weekend, kill IOD bams that they have killed for the past year thousands of times? Play Elin Ninja which was released last year? Run dungeons that they ran 100 times at least which drops nothing they need. Or lvl up another alt when lvling is boring and sucks. People that playing the game are looking for more fun at weekend, at any other online game, including MOBA like Smite, they do it. b/c more fun, more hype to play, more reason to play.

Tera players, players like me which plays on daily basis, need events because everything has been done by them multiple times. no content, so events are mandatory at this point. I don't cry for events to be rewarding or similar stuff, just at this point events is the only thing that changes the repetitive environment of the game. So this generation suck because you can't think and analyze for a minute that what the heck is happening in Tera. You can see a massive different of players activity when there is an event and when there is not one.

I want content, but we know EME can't do it. Gladly they were always good at publishing the game, that is why people expect them to give us event on weekends because lack of content hurting Tera badly.

    Just get a life :v
