  • You have to access the boxes on the web store here:
    https://store.enmasse.com/tera/gifts

From there you can either open them or gift them.

You have to open the box via the gifting center on the website, and then it sends the item you won to your item claim.
  • Wow, thanks folks. I completely missed that piece.

It's a tough point to find the right price, considering these are all lootbox rares (minus the consumables and the EMP). Considering all the prizes are tradeable, if it's a price where everyone feels it will automatically be "worth it", more people will buy and the prizes will deflate in value so they won't be "worth it" anymore.

I guess the only way to know whether the price is "just right" is to be EME and look at sales, but obviously we'll never know.

As much as you want to white knight, it's painfully obvious to anyone with a working brain that this is a sale rather than an event. And having a sale when everybody hates you and the event already being postponed so much past deadline is quite bad taste, which is why the mEMEs are spreading.
  • I just wish they took out the feedstock, alks, inners, and spellbinds. They're pretty bad prizes considering that they're just about everywhere and sold fairly cheaply.

That has, once again, literally nothing to do with the comment I made, which was about finding the right price point given the contents. If you must know what I thought of this event idea, I was/am against it. But, you can still objectively discuss things you don't agree with. My being against it won't change the fact that they'll judge the success of a cash shop event by the money they make, not my feelings.
  • I would've liked to have seen t12 feedstock in them as well as t11 since t11 has been devauled so much and would help the feedstock crisis that always happens at the start of a patch

China has recently passed a law requiring online games to publish the chances for lootboxes
Hopefully this practice will eventually be adopted by western publishers.

Ask Trump to pass that law.

I am not gonna meme him though.
  • What gets me is the pricing for these boxes, or rather, their "sale" prices. Those sale prices indicate that at one point during their release that they were being sold for more. What EME is doing regarding these 5th Anniversary boxes is called "Deceptive Pricing" and in most states, it's illegal.
  • allofspaceandtimeallofspaceandtime ✭✭✭✭✭
we all have the choice of not buying them. I know it sounds kinda mean, but if you aren't happy then start letting your money do the talking. I myself feel like the boxes aren't worth the price, even if I bought them and gifted them to myself to get double the prize. for that kind of money, I think the permanent fiery halo should be account bound for all characters.

well, I spent over $1,000 and didn't get the flying motorcycle. 100 boxes :(
Damn I hate being compulsive. I should've known better since 50 mount boxes also gave me crap. I think they seriously forgot to put the items into the game.

You should have just sold the first thing that is worth as much as the jetcycle and bought it with that gold.
