Skimmed through it, it looks right.
Sadly theorycrafting isn't popular in TERA so unless this information is translated into calculator format, it probably won't generate a lot of attention :(

I am just creating this for people have some reference in the future. Is still a work in progress, so I should do some changes in the future.
Ohh, a fully functional calculator! Are you thinking of a rotation optimizer too?
Actually i already have a manual rotation calculator that i released 6months in the old forums.

    https://tera-forums.enmasse.com/forums/player-vs-environment/topics/Gear-calc-and-theorical-dps-spreadsheet

the download link should still work. Yeah i am working on optimizing, but for that I had to switch from excel to matlab. And this will take a while, and only for archer initially.

Excellent work Ketoth! As a fellow theorycrafter, I'm appreciative especially of the research you've been doing into the crit factor to chance conversion.

I wanted to know if you had additional insight into this:
As a Slayer, there are two skills that have the triple crit factor glyph: Heart Thrust and Whirlwind. However, having both glyphed, I've noticed in parses that Heart Thrust has significantly higher crit chance than WW (consistently higher by 15-20% chance - without the carving glyph from Overpower). Does this fall into the BCSM phenomenon?

When i checked slayer wasnt like that. If you look your profile while casting HT there is a Crit Rate increase.

    Other possible could be that

In section 2.3.1.4 discussing level differences you multiplied the 9% (0.09*0.09) instead of adding (0.09+0.09). The way you described it made it seem that it would just sum up.

They dont add, its a multiplicative stack if was a lvl 1 mob vs a level 65 player would be (1+0.09)^(65-1)=248X, that is why you see so huge numbers when attacking a low lvl mob, also their defense is low.

From my testing, if any one cares to test themselves, your level is added to the skill damage. So it looks like:

    Damage = Attack ( Skill damage + CharacterLevel ) / Defense

I only tested on random mobs (from lvl 1, to lvl 32, and some lvl 64-65) and all the classes before brawler. According to that source, that 9% works for around level 60~

What really happens is that for every level you are above the level you learned the skill the damage of the skill increase by 3.5% (i just added to the guide), this is not additive, so is true damage increase.

The korean tested used the same gear with the same skills lvls in the same monster, but just increase his level.

    Thank you.

the ss is part of a big program i am still working. It is on MATLAB, so unless you have the software, sharing that code will be useless.

When i finish i will share the code, and possible a .exe if a manage to do without the libraries.
