VM7 +15 weapon vs Misery weapon

So if I'm looking at the data properly, this means that if you already have an optimally set-up Imperator weapon, there's no need to stress yourself with going for the Misery set because of the overall damage dropoff. Otherwise, go nuts with the Misery set, yes?

That's right !! Sorry for the long reading, but there have been quite many KTERA patch note with wrong translation and some people do not believe when there is no actual evidence. That is why I put a wall of text.

This is the CORRECT answer. There are tons of people in here saying 'my imp is good enough'. Meanwhile they're comparing their imperfect, etch 2-3, who knows if it's even properly rolled sets, to jasons perfect in every way axe. Even if the people making the claim did have perfect weapons, the real issue is that you're giving misinformation to players who might not have a good imp weapon, but have one. If you are not using dyads, perf rolled imperator, then go misery, really.

But, even considering imperfect factors, unless you screw the Imperator and nail it on the Misery, you wouldn't end up with a considerably worse setup. You'll just end with suboptimal stuff, and seriously, going Imperator +15 and NOT doing it right? You'll likely not do Misery perfect anyway.

I think it just proves that it's not needed to bother with changing to mid tier yet, just don't trash at it and think you're all mighty on +15, OR don't bother with making Imperator now.

Correct rolls? Of course. Expecting your average player to 3% and etch 4? Hah. There are so many +15 imp weapons rolling around with Etch 2s and 1% it's not even funny. If it weren't for this fact I'd keep my mouth shut. It's important for players to know that this 2.5-3% gap is subjective to a perfect weapon. What I'm trying to avoid here, is having some player in game cite this thread as a reason for tanking in Imperator. I aim to do that by fleshing out some of the opinions of keeping or switching. Frankly, information that is partially correct and partially missing/incorrect is worse than completely obvious incorrect information.

Keep in mind, dear players, as well, that these do not translate over to the armor side of things, either. VM is strictly better for gloves, The extra roll on chest is a flat 6% which is a worse consideration compared to weapon (as compared to the, I want to say situational, due to different enrages in different dungeons, but is always useful and we'll be here all day debating amount of time enraged damage of the one line), and boots will always be better with newer mid tier compared to 2 patches ago VM. I think in the bigger picture ALL of this should be considered. From Jasons first post, you can definitely see no opinion of conclusion was given. It's just information, a 1:1 comparison in a small part of a bigger picture. There are other players stating that the answer here is to keep their old gear, not the OP.
