in New & Returning Player Help
While I am not new to gaming, it has been a while and I am new to Tera. I played LastChaos for several years. I stopped because a lot of life happened. I wanted some advise on the better server or if they are all equal. I plan to return to the gaming world and am currently downloading Tera. I have full intention and ability to level and grind as need be but I don't want to get into that on a server that I wont be happy on. Also, suggestions for a guild. Of course I realize that the bigger and more active guilds (which I am use to) will most likely not want to recruit a new player with no experience in this game. Pay my dues and all of that. So, basically I guess I am looking for experienced player information. I enjoy being part of a guild and helping other players, I also enjoy some good PvP. It can be difficult to find an active guild actually interested in building up the guild and its members while taking a strong stance against the Drama that comes eventually. I am not here to date, in game or IRL, just a good time playing with people online.

I really hope that this doesn't come off as elitist, snobby, or rude in anyway. It is just that when you play for a while there are things that are just better put out there from the get go. If anyone would be willing to lend some points as to server status in game or guilds that I may be a fit for, I would appreciate it!!

    server selection: I think you should read this thread LINK, kamizuma wrote an exceptional guide for server selection, but since then AV,LoT and HW servers have been merged into a server named Fey Forest. Which is the most casual/dead but active in PvP only server. They barely managed to tackle the hardest PvE raid dungeon in the last season, but they are quite active in PvP.

    There are thousands of guilds, but only a handful of active ones, if you log in you can check which guilds are the most active by checking their guild level in the guilds on the server option.
    You can see their number of players and their recruitment methods there, whether they are open to new players or not.
    Additionally you can check the Guild recruitment thread in this forum or on reddit.
