Overview of latest update,thoughts

-Ninja Class : from the previews to the trailer i assumed the Ninja class was to have much more Ninjutsu, like poison attacks, shadow clones, confusion, etc etc. all I've seen really is the fire attack. I'm referring to actual magic like attacks. I've really was expecting so much more with how the trailer seemed to Hype it to be.

The Decoy Skill isn't as what i would of expected it to work as well. True i can teleport behind a mob/player, but the mobs instantly just re target me instantly without any down time. I was really expecting that they at least attempt to attack the "Stump" left behind as a decoy and then try attacking me afterwards.

Clone Skill, i realize this is just for fun and games. I was really hoping i could clone monsters and sneak past or by certain areas without any fighting. I think that if this was meant for PvP to trick opponents team members, i can see the advantage of this trickery. However in towns i think that you should only clone likeness and that the timer be extended to 5mins.

Whats everyone else think about the Ninja Class? its been well over a week for the Hype to climb down a little, So do you really feel that the ninja class has hit as well as it was Hyped to be? do you feel its far better than expected to be? or do you feel its the same as the other class types?

-Flying Mounts, i was rather interested in this one, i think its great to fly around areas and avoid having to run out of the way to just fly over a patch of land to get to your destination faster. However my complaint here is that most areas other than the 60-65 have a no fly zone >.< i mean honestly i understand certain areas being restricted with this. But I'm talking about regular areas without fly zone? this really defeats the purpose of these new mounts doesn't it?

~Mount Ideas, so i was thinking about some ideas with the mounts.

Nimbus Cloud, i was thinking that a cloud similar to the one from Dragon Ball would be an interesting flying mount.
Flying Carpet, be nice if it could really fly now :)
Magic Wings, A mount or way of flying can be anything right?
Witches Broom Stick, why not?
Flying Pig Mount, Pigs can fly! :)

-Controller Issue
So i use an off brand Ps3 Controller to play the game with, and i often get a glitch that i really wish was fixed sooner. when moving my player i noticed that the Cursor moves in the background as well. Rather than it staying stationary, it can often click things i don't want it to, or in my case move skills or the message tabs out of place. I know that the game was designed for both uses, and that you can use your control stick as a Cursor to select and do things without the need of the mouse. But i was wondering if this one could be fixed?

Anyways this above is just something i wanted to throw out there, i'm just throwing out my 2 cents, a few ideas and a few thoughts here on the forums.

  • For the flying mount point in particular, they've said that they're gradually rolling it out in time. They likely have to clean up a lot of little map imperfections and holes that would otherwise be a problem while flying. I understand that another part of the world has already been completed in K-TERA so we should get that update sooner rather than later. Hopefully eventually the whole world.

As for ninja class, I quite like the way it plays, though I agree that it's perhaps a bit less "ninja-esque" than you might imagine. It kind of plays a bit like DPS warrior or slayer with a touch of reaper, but in the end I find it fun. The extra dimension they add at level 65 adds an interesting dynamic that I like as well. All in all, in terms of gameplay, I think it's my favourite of the four new classes.
