Why bothers you so much You're just worried about the names rozie lol, do not read it and there's no problem for you
problem is, it was discussed many many times, currently we have another thread like this. Clearly I am doing more reading than you. Names matter, character limitation matters, fps matter, ms ping matter, open world events matter, doing dailies matter.
If you think for a second that how many players gonna do IOD bams, and how restricted it would be? Currently sometimes you can't find empty channel to do IOD on some hours. It is just one example, I can keep going on the matters. But not gonna change anything. There are players that run dungeons with static party so many times, can't find ppl, teach them, carry them, then they can be your static party. Only 3 servers were really dead, all merged. AV could use some help, but even AV got enough players to be positively active.
We don't have population problem, we have attitude problem.
That is funny happens with many new people who did not really know what a server was populated, I remember in 2014 mt was a super server populated in 2015 people started to leave tera same the other servers were left empty so fused vot Lot and hw but at the moment FF is just as empty, mt has more people than all the servers but same is empty compared to before it is sad to be on a server and have problems creating an lfg
In AV there are many small guild witch ...can you imagen that run dungerons but they use IM .And if you dont find a lfg in AV and you are not doing one why do you think someone have to start a lfg for you? AV have good number of lfgs on the right time. Yes on the right time as if you are european player ofc you will not see lfgs on a day time when most americans sleep...
In MT there are lfgs yes but to get in lfg party you need to be with +15 gear ...
AV is doing pretty well and have good number of players.
I have 8 chars there, I visit time to time. I played there for awhile with friends, friends left lost my main motivation, but I get there and see things. I said here and there AV needs help but not merge. FF has many players, CH has many players, they don't need merge. is it hard to understand this?
That still is one thing. When I get transferred for example, I doubt there's any Erina.(insert class here) to worry with my clones, but heck I don't wanna rename my Kudryavka Noumi.
And during a merge, who's gonna have the name anyway? oldest created? Random? "Delete and fick off"?
If we're going for yet another merge, then go ba-lls out and make a massive upgrade to the mega server with PVP and PVE channels, merge friggin all servers already, loads of channels, hardware scaling on the servers to handle the load properly, and upgrade character count. I have 2 on TR for example and 16 on AV, no plans in deleting any, cause no I don't want, simple. Let alone names. I'm not in for a simple 2 server merge and deal with the names, character count and pricings, either go all out or don't go at all in this case. I don't think AV is that bad to need to get merged honestly. Like said before, you can't just compare LFG counts for activity, I've seen quite some activity on AV during spread hours.
