Archer Crit Factor issues ._.

Hello everyone!

Every single guide I've read on the internet says the very same thing:

IF your group consist of:
- Priest -> Get Crit Factor of 60+194
- Mystic -> Get Crit Factor of 60+170

I got my proper glyhps set up, I have 60+227 Crit Factor unbuffed... And still shots clearly from behind (Radiant + Thunderbolt) happen not to crit a few times. Needless to say this is annoying as hell, since I'm losing sh*ttons of DPS (Thunder being 1m instead of 10 etc.).

Anyone has an idea of what's wrong here?

some times the boss hitbox is glitched in some moves and you are hitting the front instead of the back even when you are hiting the back of the model.

also without knowing the true equation for critchance in relation to crit factor is impossible get the correct number for crit factor and they come from experience testing to get the 99% crit chance and not the 100%
  • I play archer with:
    Priest - 60+270 > 80-82% crit rate
    Mystic - 60+200 > 75-80% crit rate
    (VSHM Lakan)
  • @Ketoth In those cases I had "Expose Weakness" on, which makes the shot hit from the back, no matter the relative position.

@AshirogiMuto I'll stack more Crits then, thank you.
  • New dungeon bosses (and some of the old ones boosted for this patch) have higher crit resist than previous bosses so, as was mentioned already, you'll probably need more crit to compensate. Old values from old guides may not be accurate anymore.
