The main concern about these latest patches is all the mechanics involved memory and concentration sort of like you're doing a homework assignment or chore. Only very few people like playing Simon says constantly. Why can't there be a dungeon or have every single dungeon adjustable?
Say that you hate VSHM and you want do a dungeon from a previous patch because you're used to it and you love it of course the drop rate would be lowered in the process. In still progress in the game without learning a whole new dungeon. Some people are just bad at short-term memory it's nearly impossible to do the dungeon. Of course it would become easy with 3th party communication application like discord and such.
This is about to go overboard I know this. But why do I need a application to improve my gameplay because of my lack of ability to pay attention of my inferior short-term memory. Yes discord is a third-party application and I know people don't even think of it like that if you're using and game and putting some sort of data to improve gameplay performance it's third-party and clarification of things. Yes I know it sounds insane when i reread it. I'm just saying it to prove a point.
You shouldn't be have to be forced to use tools to accelerate your learning curves. The dungeon should be straightforward and fun yes with a few quotations gimmicks. A good example is VHHM and VHNM Boss 2. No strange gimmicks just hide behind a rock in your safe while he does AoE. when he whips he'll break the rocks and if you touch any electric you'll get damage. If they made a whole patch of that for me personally Tera would be nominal more fun.
Just do the three dues and Tera.
Listen to players feedback and try to create content for NA not world wide (not likely)
Don't do gimmicks to make it seem longer and cause stress for people
And don't break the game controls <.< (Which happened to the recent update.) If they're going change the controls they should do it for both variations. Keyboard and gamepad. (Becasue people would complain. xD)
These are the things I noticed Tara has been doing. To prolong content.
-Adding low rates at the beginning of the patch or static drop rates .
-Adding a mechanic that isn't easy to farm
-Shield phase (that requires people to do absurd amount of damage for queing)
-Toxics zones (the area damage you cannot recover from once you die in you have a low chance of recovering Anything about 90k is bad. a sec.)
-Colour tests (self-explanatory you don't pass them you die)
-Thinking Tests (failed to memorize something you die or wipe the party)
-Not producing different content like in most massive multiplayer games.
Things we can do to fix this. (For me)
Make a patch just out of movement based mechanics you can Iframe any AOE. Strategizing with the placement of the boss. So he could have like a Debuff to allow your teammates to do more damage force the boss stand toxic instead of players getting her the boss gets hurt. Add more stunning mechanics and only DPS stunned that for more engaging experience. Forcing the combat to stop of the player is not fun doing a chore is not fun unless you are a type of person that likes that.
What is fun is to be fulfilled with not stopping motion of combat. Unless it's done right good example is TSHM. The buffs give you buffs if you succeed involving 1 to 2 players to focus on mechanics. if you fail these the boss gets harder. And with notifications you can easily say stuff preferably the healer's role. Nowadays you can probably DPS through it but it was a good dungeon nonetheless besides the shields for the orbs at the start. They were just a filler and a pain.

Gotta make sure my characters and moving gotta make sure that I'm pressing forward on the joystick. It's just so annoying I keep making these forms in hopes they fix it but I have been never received feedback yet...
Imagine you have to keep pressing the W key forward to hit the boss in front of you on a keyboard before you comment. To this comment. Camera direction does nothing... Aiming at the boss when do a thing it's all about your characters movement to aim. By pressing forward immediately you're syncing with the camera as well.
So what you are saying is because you want it easy they should change stuff around? Several dungeons before had similar mechanics yet everyone liked them, perfect example MCHM back in the day where you had to stop to take the debuffs, Wonderhome where you had to break [filtered] at jack. AIHM will come back soon so you will have your "constant combat" dungeons and HH20 also so lets see how you like it.
Not exactly HH Did it right for last patch. MCHM Was fun but back in the day I did have trouble with the debuff but it was easy to follow was always in mid out in mid out no brain work needed. any thing past 5 for any dungon if you cant compress the information then its bad for a human mind short term.
like if I said. If there was a debuff that you needed to know your current color your Asign letter at start of dungon. also what class you had to be and said you had to learn new type of math. you would hate it... at the rate we are going this might happen 3 patches later.
Also I do lead a raid for HH so... xD I know the problems that come with it HH20 Changes I seriously dislike x.x going give me a headake that's for sure.

And the game only became "Hard when they broke my controls T.T" and I cant undo what they did. I wish I could.

People have made suggestions before to have options or at least a supported mod to change aoe and mechanic colors for those that are color blind or have difficulty distinguishing between the colors, tho it never really went anywhere.
In all honesty this memory one in VS is better in a way. You get to see the pattern. (Buuut I don't have a great memory though). Where as in SS, I could almost never survive the cage because I couldn't know where to run to next, and you suffer at high ping.

-boss 1 Remove outer rings or just nerf the damage so its not permeant death Maybe 50k asec?. or add a divine blessing so when a priest/mystic is in a area of someone dead it reduces damage by a %? so it = to 50k/s so people can be resed. only like 3 secs to act but alive none the less. Keeping the old damage so you cant skip that aoe mechic.
-Boss 2 Restore functionality to the old ring system instead of memory game.
-Boss 3 Instead of its marked just say the Stupid mechanic x.x
Then I can do VSHM with ease. Once the control fix comes (Hoping)
Rip also a "Ping Tool detector handy cap thing would be nice too. to help those with 250+ ping like it says hit maker wont hit for another 500ms or something. auto detects it and gives you a bigger iframe. Also getting out of the way of a aoe instead of you dyeing more offen it should just do prediction to a point were your 500ms ahead or something like that.
Why should it say the stupid mechanic? Just have someone call it out and you are good to go. Its not even that hard to memorize since it always followsa the same pattern. Practice enough and you can do it in your sleep. the way i see it you just want something easy that you can just iframe all day long without paying to much attention to...well sorry thats not the way the cookie crumbles.

That's how long it takes me to compress 1 mechic q.q. to something understand. why cant we have mechics that are reasonable but hard none the less. xD? Like the rock golem in VHHM were go near rocks you know there land minds. movement of the boss is the main focus. Its easy to say Move boss here should be fine.
its hard to do. SO you do this then here is a picture so you can understand also boss here that's like a bam he says a mechanic you gotta pay attention to also have to know it reverses order below 30% also refreshes his pattern at 50%. ....... That's just the pattern not the mechic. his bomb phase you group up together and wait for cleanse but make sure its not below 30% if you cleanse you wipe the whole party. thunder you wanna get away from team mates unless its below 30% if its below 30% group together. and you know that debuff thing from SSHM its back too. just randomly invented below 30% and apply to 2 people not just one. "ONE mechanic" is all of that...
This is just normal mode to T.T
Wrost part is too. There speeding up mechics every patch adding more and more mechanics instead of 2-3 its more like 4-7 now x.x. Making them shorter durations in between. cage in SS didnt happen ever 45secs more like 1min and 30secs also chain only happen 2 times. the debuff controllable 2 mins. RmHM had mechanic every 60 secs x.x its getting wrost and wrost.
