    Yes it is sad that even the lowtier set can perform better than slaughter in pvp and slaughter is just slightly better than dreadnaught in pve for dps (for tanks, healers the difference is bigger)

    But back to the actual question of this topic!
    I'd advise to stay in dreadnaught until you get conflate for pvp and if you are a dps dreadnaught is still fine for your pve action. :)
