Hypothetical question: How would community react if EME merges empty server like CH to healthy one?

    Amazing words @Seraphion ! This was the reason why I came to CH 9 months ago all tired from cold toxicity and now count it as best server and my home - atmosphere. It costs really much more than any progress and big population - we can have less people but we know each other better, we communicating, interacting and we are friends.

    @voidy I agree with you about keeping campfires for cosmetic purposes, and wish they would bring back original island of dawn for us as well. iod was a great place for rp. I remember my first day in ch and following the campfires to the location for a costume contest. it was around populan. there were like over 100 people there and it took over 3 hours for it to finish.
    I feel the reason for the lower population in ch is due to bhs removing content from the game. losing the campfires didn't help things, losing iod really didn't help things. we ran dungeons and stuff, but then all this +15 b.s. really hurt things due to people coming to ch for titles and wanting you to be +15 to do runs with. as I said in other posts before, people will leave a game when content keeps getting removed and isn't replaced with anything worthwhile. server merges is like a bandage on a deep cut. it may help for a bit but it will bleed out. I just hate to think how bad the servers would be if they did merge anymore together. we have so many problems with servers as it is lagging and d/c and all.
    I feel tera is the best free to play mmorpg out there, but if it keeps on the trend its been on, I feel like we wont see a 10th anniversary. I understand that people want to see more populated areas, and I would like to see ch players engaging more in the rp and make it where you pretty much have to. I would love to see the gm's host events pertaining to the rp and get more involved like it was a few years ago.
    I lost many guildies in my rp guild due to bad decisions that bhs made, and they went on to other games , mostly to bdo. they rp there and they don't get caught up in the p2w stuff, they just enjoy the little things like fishing, housing, taming and so on. I would like to see bhs breathe new life back into tera and hopefully bring old and new players back.
    so maybe you could come back to ch and give the rp another try. if you do, pm me and I will give you my ign so you can ad me as a friend.

    And it's fine if you don't, really, But many of us do feel these differences across servers, and we fear that a merge would thus destroy what is very precious to many people on CH. As several pointed out already, this atmosphere that many of us cannot find on any other server is what makes this server feel like home, probably what keeps many playing and logging in daily. IMO merging CH would risk losing many of the server's current players.

    I'm afraid that if you want to focus on top tier end game on CH, you either have to get into a guild made for it, have patience with finding people (and stuff on the broker), or move to another server >.<
