Is there an up to date gold guide? I feel like farming IOD this patch is really meh and not worth the time.

@AbstractCH Theres really not a guide for making gold. The only way to make gold in game is to constantly do your Vanguard quests on multiple characters, use the credits to buy Masterwork Alkahest Boxes, and sell those. At this current time, price on alkahest is quite low, but is still something you can make gold out of. You can also sell the Feedstock you get from your Vanguard Dailies, as this is worth more than alkahest.

The easy way is to sell EMP, but it requires you to use real money, which i believe you dont want to. So for now stick to your vanguard dailies, and save as much of the enchanting materials you can: Alkahest, Feedstock, Spellbinds, Semi scrolls (this ones specifically) Enigmatic scrolls, cause all of that will be used to create new enchanting materials once the gear revamp update arrive to NA, so ppl will be looking for em and will pay a lot for being the firsts with the best gear maxed out.

IoD is the most rewarding content this patch vs. effort required.
If you don't find IoD rewarding then you definitely won't find any of the other content rewarding.

VHHM is quite rewarding and for the time required I think is more rewarding than IoD bams.

Edit: Have to clarify, when running with a static party.

Use ongoing events for making money. Most part is very easy to sell. Bonanzas, costumes. They give quite a lot if you use them with mind and don't sell immediately. Made like min 400k from anniversary only.
Vanguards are just additional coin FOR ME.(this means its ny opinion, last two months I even don't touch them cause we have wonderful events, thanks @seandynamite !)
Also events distract mind from constant grind of dungeons/iod so its really pleasant: No much effort but good gold.


Ps. In compare to money that you can get from events iod is exactly "meh" as you said) I don't write about etching and dendrite as I feel you know you can have quite a bit money from that too

I made about 2 million gold worth on mats on last summer event playing only one hour a day.
