what would be best gear to get for a valkeri as in Misery or is there better only recently came back after break due to illness was away for nearly a year got several toons but saw new classes so giving Valkeri a try so far so good most of my toons are @ lvl65

there 's no "best gear for a class". all race classes wear the same tier gear. the progression at the momemnt is :

idoneal (you get it when you hit 65) -> guile (tier 10,your first real gear) -> misery (tier11,the last and best NON-VM gear that drops on dungeons) -> ambush (tier11,goes up to +15, it's last season's VM gear) -> deathwrack (tier12 this season's VM gear) -> oblit ( it's a retooling of deaththrack)

if you don't want to go +15 (which means awakening and enchanting pass +12) which means that you will spend lots of money and time, misery is where you stop. The VM gear (ambush, deathwrac) are only acquired by crafting them and they are tradeble meaning you can buy them from other players.

*also keep in mind that in a couple of weeks we get a new patch that is gonna change the gearing process substantially. so you may want to dig deeper if you want to go beyond misery. At this point, and this is only a personal opinion i would ponder on even misery. my luck with misery was awful and misery gets you not that far into the next patch, so it may be a waste of time, mats and money for a measly 2 weeks of game. proceed with caution would be my best advice.
