DW from scratch to +2 Stormcry vs Guardian to Stormcry?

    if you have enough tokens to make DW +15 go ahead its cheaper than Guardian - StormCry. I spent around 50k of entropic to craft a weapon and enchant to +15

    I blew out a lot of tokens (like 200k metamorph+50k entropic) and couldn't make it past +12 for DW, so that is a gamble.

    I spent about 70k entropic for a DW+15.

    It might arguably be cheaper if I was luckier, but it can get way worse. I have a 5.5% chance of success +13-15 though.

    bad idea, you can get with metamorpic tokens, but you need +200 k of them , sounds more grind vs Top +2 ( cuz from +14 to +15 is 6.5% enchant sussces, no bonus enchanted succes fail )

    It is a gamble only worth if you have enought tokens and if you dont want to pass throught the gear progression from guardian up to stormcry.

    However I have been playing with guild mates since this patch started and in one week they managed to get full frostmetal set on their characters, so I think in less than a month they will get full stormcry and daylight accesories.

    If you dont mind to put time in the game to gear up then using your tokens to get stormcry is not a good idea and a really expensive one.

    I'd say it's totally worth it. If I recall correctly, Ambush +12 will get you Twishshard +0, but Ambush +15 and you'll get +7 Frostmetal. Quite an upgrade. The cost of from +13-15 will probably save you money and mats. Even more if you're lucky.

    after you get to frostmetal, plusing and changing tier is back to RNG all over again.

    gear exp can only get you so far (% success is capped the higher you go).

    at least you get a perm +3% for every fail, but expect to burn through mountain or resources/gold.

    +14 at +15 is only 6.25 % ( and have 2% from tera rewards)
    and no bonus if you fail ( like awakening )
    so you need huge tons of tokens and good luck

    In this season you have a 6.5% from +13 to +15.

    Bad idea, if you need gold for enchanting just buy semi-enigmatic scrolls with your entropic emblems and sell them.
