Potential New Player - Some Questions!
Hiya! I'm Claire, and I'm too dumb to figure out how to change my name on this forum but whatever. At least I can be a screaming bear.
I've been shopping around for new MMO's to play, and came across Terra while on the search. After reading a plethora of reviews, I think it might be worth a try, but I need a few answers here first!
First off, from people who are actually playing the game right now... What are your honest thoughts on the game? Pros? Cons? Your solid recommendations on whether or not it's worth it? Keep in mind, I'm a casual player of most MMOs, I'm not really looking for something to sink maximum effort into, just a place to immerse myself and have some nice fun.
Secondly, and this request is a bit specialized, but I'm really only interested in a game that has RP value. Is there a server people have designated for RP? What server is it, and is the RP community active there, at all? If you've been apart of the RP community, do you have an honest take on it; is it a friendly community, or is it fairly elitist? Lastly, is there any open-world RP, or is it all usually done within guilds/groups of friends?
I'm sorry for the slew of questions, but I'm interested to hear your responses! I'm coming from a solid 11 years of WoW, only driven away because me and my girlfriend happened into some unlikely drama, as well as subscription costs... but WoW has one of the most active RP communities that I know of in the MMORPG scope today, and I'm hoping there's something out there that can reign me in with something similar, before Blizzard's grungy hands take a hold of me again.
