Help with transfer

So I have some gold on MT and I really want to transfer it to AV , what should I do ? :)

    Transfer a char from MT to AV with that gold in the inventory. But it costs $$$

    Did they ever get the character transfer working?

    I've got about a half dozen orphans on FF that couldn't transfer during the free period and still can't even on a paid basis. I can clear out inventory except for the stuff you can't get rid of and it still bombs.
