Mind over Facts #3

Mind over facts is a series of ideas that cross my mind that doesn't seem to have an answer to them. if you're interested in raising feedback please do comment below.

Whatever happen to expansions? (Before we had an expansion every 1-2 years we are well overdue for one about 3 years overdue. {Tera expansion is something major that takes like 5gbs to download. and increases the level cap or adds a lot of new content.)

Why can't Enmase offer other forms of currency? (Sadly the Import fees and tax are killers. Here is a sample of what I pay. Paypal = for 100$ USA converts to 133$ steam with no import fees 124$. The sad part is not only it's cheaper but. Enmasse gets even less money if I pay throw steam(About 30% less). So it's in there interesting to offer if they would make a lot more money xD {From me}

Why can't they make gender neutral animations for a new class apply it easily to all humanoid races? (Sadly they would have to make completely different animations for both popri and barakas)

    About expansions, It would be nice if we could get a story expansion that involves quest on open world like they used to be years ago.

    I don't think we need a new level cap for classes, better give us more story content that involves more interaction with Tera world would be better.

    I am actually curious if we will get a level cap increase due to the next storyline update, though I doubt we will.

    The problem is, a lot of this is on BHS, and not EME. Sure the payment options are EME but the rest is BHS. If you know how to speak/type Korean, you're welcome to send this feedback their way.
  • On expansions, I think that Tera could use something like that for the Awakening patch. It looks like there's a quest-line that involves solo content to unlock the skills over a period of time. But I would enjoy another lvl increase instead of just giving us another gear upgrade. Something that makes people want to go and quest to gear up and interact with the world again. The previous gear doesn't need to be useless but can be exchanged in a store or could have a bonus like avatar weapons while you lvl up.
  • About the payment methods, they actually have a lot more than they used to now. It used to be just PayPal or Credit Card (run by PayPal). Now they also have Xsolla (which itself supports lots of payment methods in each country), BoaCompra, Steam (if you play through Steam, which also has multiple payment methods), and Amazon.com. What other payment method would you suggest?

    Ability to chose your own currency in PayPal purchase not "It converts to cad and forces you to pay (3$"+2.9%+ another 6%) On a 10$ purchase this is a lot of money. I know I could do it on steam but its a real hassle. for some reason to buy it in steam. All I want is to do it natively on the main website. not jump throw hoops. Sadly I been paying that extra fee this whole time too. because its just easier for some reason due to steam not liking tera transactions.

    You can try Xsolla that also does the currency conversion, but anything will basically add their fee over the market rates. Even if EME offered "native" CAD rates, it'd be based on market rate + fees (since they get hit with a fee converting it the other way, since their bank is USD). Personally, I usually just let the credit card handle it since I think it's just a flat 2.9% or something, but there are also cards that give lower fees for this as well.

    Ill just stick with steam then when buying emp. sigh xD the sucky part is "They lose a lot more money that way

    I was going to speculate that we don't get expansions anymore because we get patches a lot faster than we used to. However, looking back at it, the amount of time between a major update in ktera and when we get said update is about the same as it was back around the time of gunners and the Fate of Arun expansion (about 6 months).

    It's not so much that we don't get expansions anymore either. It's more that they aren't really labeled that way anymore. That's only if you consider a new class or dungeon release somewhat of an expansion tho.
