This has done nothing to help enchanting. Sure its lowered the costs of feedstock, but theres no alkahest to go around to balance it out, so now awakened enchanting prices still stay at a stand still. No word from a GM about this or adding any alkahest to the ongoing strongbox event.

There is mwa box from the vanguard merchant tho... even ilvl was lowered for vanguard reward/credit. If they didn't do this, there will the problem for some people to earn credits, aka if u want credit, u do "less" challenging content.

Premium and extensive have always been rare but now they drop in dungeons.

I think the problem is the nerf to vanguard reward, but fortunately they are keeping double vanguard in today's patch.

I alluded to this in the other thread, but right at this moment I think they need to wait and see where things stand after the end of the weekend event. It's not good to try to mess with too many parts of an equation at once. The feedstock bottleneck and overall enchanting cost are not exactly the same issue in the first place, but there is already a consistent supply of MWA through vanguard (as was mentioned). If, once things with Feedstock settle into a stable pattern, the enchanting cost is still too high or MWA becomes the bottleneck, they could always reduce the amount of credits needed to get that box. But they don't need to resort to that just yet.

Honestly, if there is a bottleneck, it should be alkahest. Feedstock shouldn't be the bottleneck!

You can get Masterwork Alkahest from Vanguard credits, which currently has an event for double Vanguard rewards ¬.¬

In terms of Awakened enchanting, every 1g drop in feedstock prices is equivalent to 2g drop in MWA. For regular enchanting, the ratio is like 1g per 3g (weapon) to 1g per 1.5g (gloves/shoes).

So even though MWA prices have risen, the overall cost of enchanting is getting lower.

Open extensive strongboxes then. You might get a jackpot and you will get lots of alk.

25 Locked Spellbound Lockboxes
25 Locked Pocket Pet Strongbox

Not 1 Tier 8 or Tier 9 Feedstock from any of these boxes...
That's 8085 EMP or roughly 80 Dollars wasted and not a single Feedstock to show for it....

Who needs MWA when even with the events going on I can't seem to get any Feedstock...

Just sell your keys and use the gold to buy what you need. It's not worth the gambling effort. I've learned that awhile ago.

Key events? I know someone spend 20 keys got 4 jackpot while I spent 1200+ key got 4 on the very first key event.
But I also got 5+ Rainbow~
RNG is RNG

PS: I sort of gave up +15 since SF, way less stress lol

Most key events you see system notices "Soandso obtained <Tier 8 Feedstock>x500 from SomerandomBox" - yet I have been in Highwatch for hours and not a single Announcement for anything other than Elite Boxes...

I don't think it's RNG - I think they screwed up the Drop rate on Feedstock from the Key event - No one is getting any, it's not just me...
