What do I do with the old Feedstock?

I've recently got back into Tera, and I see they've changed the armor system... again. I noticed I can no longer upgrade my Misery gear with the T11 Feedstock I currently have. I can't dismantle the feedstock Iike I could with my Alkahests and Enigmatic Scrolls. What do I do now?

    Combine it into T12 Feedstock (right click, or shift-right click if you want to do the whole stack at once), which you can dismantle.

    There is a new T11 Feedstock you can buy with the new emblems that you can use to enchant Misery. (It's in both the Entropic and the Metamorphic shops, so using Metamorphics to buy it would likely be the more sensible choice, but whichever you want to use.)

    Oh, thank you. Now, I'm honestly still iffy on the whole system, should I upgrade my guardian armor or should I pour the 2000 entropic tokens into my misery gear instead? Also, is there any way I can dismantle my old Guile gear or do I just have to trash it?

    Ultimately up to you and how much gold you have at hand or how willing you are to farm. It's likely cheaper to enchant and convert, if it's really just going to be about 2000 to get what you want. Conversion only adds 1 Golden Talent per piece as extra cost.

    Reference Guide Link: https://essentialmana.com/gear-revamp-guide/ (The numbers should be right, but I haven't taken the time to check in detail. It's the right general ballpark in any case.)

    Misery+12 will convert to Twistshard +0.

    Upgrading Guardian to Twistshard +0 will cost you something like 321 Golden Talents and 19,899 gold. (Along with a few hundred Wood Scrap and a number of Archdevan Catalysts.)

    The Golden Talents alone would be something like 9630 Entropic Emblems, if you just buy them that way. You can earn something like 112 per day if you do 16 Tier 1 Island of Dawn Vanguard requests. Dungeons can add a few more to that, but that's somewhat hit and miss. You can of course make up the difference at the broker as well, if you have spare gold, but that will just drive the total up. The already listed gold is part of the straight up enchanting cost.

    That's just the three main armor pieces and the weapon though. The belt will add a number of Silver Talents and some more gold to that tally, along with some other parts. Your other accessories also need to be upgraded.

    Old gear can no longer be dismantled, the Feedstock sunk into those is stuck in there, sorry to say.

    Well, that's unfortunate. Oh well. At least I have a relatively cheaper way to get the new gear.
