How To Hit Multiple Haymakers at Once

i think the main issue people are having when they are slow at killing bams is that they are undergeared. You dont need +15 to kill bams quick, sure. But you do need a good amount of crit rate to do damage at all.

Those earlier in the thread saying that sorcs are too [filtered] for grinding higher level bams, and then attack people for posting Yosha's video, only telling them that Yosha is geared to the teeth and is skilled at sorc. Really need to look at what they are saying and realise that you do in fact kill the bams faster, if you are geared and know how to play your class.

Take your time to actually gear your characters before you go on and claim they are bad

That's only 1 Haymaker tho, but multiple haymaker perfect block.

Sorc is not nearly as bad as zerker/archer for these. Even priest is easier than them. Iron Giants are a pain in the [filtered] for everyone. But basically all the legacy classes take especially long if you don't have gear perfectly rolled to maximize crit factor. Moreover, a typically-rolled PvE weapon will lack the attack speed to burst these BAM's down fast enough before their recently buffed attack speed causes them to turn sooner and rough you up. But honestly the problem is using these classes as alts, as the gear won't be nearly as fine-tuned. Which is a shame, because no one wants to spend an hour and a half doing eight IoD quests on a less efficient alt where their main can clear under thirty minutes.

As usual what people are saying, people don't give dyads, etching III, VM gear, high-tier jewelry, and proper rolls on legacy alts like Sorc, Archer, Warrior, Berserker, Lancer, and Slayer anyways. It's all about the FOTM Ninja, Brawler, and Mystic now where they give VM gear so it clears faster obviously.

My archer has it all :)

Very few people have undertaken to gear up an alt just like their main. Much less people who can learn multiple classes just as they learn their main, and can play like a seasoned pro of each.

Currently, its' just stupid to farm IOD with archer, sorc, zerker and priest.

It's like no farming IOD without brawler and ninja. or maybe mystic.

Nerf IOD BAM. We don't have Ktera's Talent system.

Well, I'm pretty sure it's not impossible.

I absolutely love it when someone comes in and just proves no one else knows how to play their classes. Just goes to show, they're [filtered] about their own incompetence. Thank you for proving it's not a problem with sorcs, it's a problem with people that don't know how to play

I know I'm slow at this whole thing because of my low skill and my jack of trades thing in wanting to do it with so many classes. My only semi geared character is my Slaughter gear ninja. I can do all of these as that character pretty fast because of ninja's ease of use and current dps status, and after trying some glyph setups and basic rotations from a guide, I have been doing these even faster.

About the difference in gear. I don't know percentages. Maybe it's indeed around 25 percent, but at least when I swapped my +12 DN for my +12 Slaughter, the difference was around 12K attack power. I still think 12K is significant in how much damage you can do, and remembering the crit formula, a 3x crit of 12k is 36k, and most people run around with more crit power than that. And that was comparing DN with Slaughter. Imagine comparing DN with +15 SF or +15 Imperator. What if people are not even running these with a DN + 12 weapon? Enchanting is still not so available to everyone because some mats are still on low supply, like alks. One can maybe gear one or two characters but the rest will have to wait or risk running quests with them undergeared. So while yes it's a player problem, sometimes circumstances prevent people from gearing up their alts fast enough for farming.

Now about the whole 'it's proven that it can be done if you git gud'. Well, that holds a lot of truth indeed, but we must remember a few things. First, most people are using different characters to farm these. Most are not geared enough for a fast farm as explained above. Second, these people main other classes so usually they already 'got gud', but on their own classes. A solution would be to make multiple farm characters of the class you main, so all your farming can be easier, but it could become very boring quite fast too.

I don't know how to predict a walking(bam just flees?) attack. Staggers and knockdowns surely happen and they are deadly particularly when bam is slowed.

Well, i main sorc, and she is geared better than my brawl. I'm an horribly skilled brawler.

Still i can clear my IoD dailies 4x faster with my brawl.
