Tera Character Selection Screen - Alternatives?

Is there anyway to get a different character select screen? I can not stay on this screen for longer then 10 seconds without my computer rebooting. I dont see a reason to have all this mist and junk that maxes out my GPU just to pick my character ... anyway to go back to the old one?

    Unfortunately not. I actually prefer the old style with all your characters standing on platforms and you just pick the one you want instead of going through pages to get to a certain character.

    i agree, my pc isn't the best and while ingame it runs smoothly, in the char screen there is a massive frame drop and it's kinda sketchy. i'd really recommend an option to pause the overall animation while selecting chars, just like they do in some other games!

    If you PC reboots then the issue is not the char screen selection, it´s problem with your GPU or CPU overclock. i´ve been there.

    The point remains, in a game that already runs poorly on most systems, why is the character select screen the part that runs the poorest?

    In terms of presentation, I was a big fan of Vindictus' character select screen, which had everyone cooling out around a campfire.

    Failing that, I think a simple character list would be sufficient. Ooh, make it look like a fighting game! :)

    I quite like the current character screen so this seems like a good option to have for those that want it.
