    Using NZXT's CAM software.

    You have very nice things.
What screen resolution is the monitor in that picture (last one, with the wolf-themed wallpaper), and how many FPS do you get in TERA at max graphics..?
  • MrWolfyMrWolfy ✭✭
its an older Samsung smart TV, it does 1080p 90 hz, I can run Tera on highest settings with about 80-90 FPS.
    *wags his tail*
  • Mind if I ask how you're able to achieve that FPS with the Skylake CPU?

For the freakin' life of me, I can not get TERA to run above 20 FPS no matter what the heck I do with the files or anything. I've about given up entirely at this point.

That case is really sharp. Looks like you've got a really nice setup! With all that water cooling, are you planning to overclock?

My PC was built this month and is similar to yours.

    i7 6700K Currently OCed @ 4.7 GHz
    MSI GTX 980 Ti
    CORSAIR Vengeance LPX 16GB (2 x 8GB) 288-Pin DDR4 SDRAM DDR4 2400 (PC4 19200)
    MSI Z170A Motherboard
IN WIN GRone White 0.8mm SECC Steel ATX Full Tower Computer Case
    EVGA SuperNOVA GS 220-GS-0650-V1 80 PLUS GOLD 650 W
    H100i V2 Extreme Water Cooling
    SAMSUNG 950 PRO M.2 512GB PCI-Express 3.0 x4 Internal Solid State Drive

    +

Like 5 other SSD/Hard drives I had lying around for some Windows Storage Spaces fun

Had some spare change left over so I got this monitor:
    Acer Predator XB241H bmipr 24-inch Full HD 1920x1080 NVIDIA G-Sync Display, 144Hz

100-140 fps in TERA (I capped it at 120 but idk why it goes that high sometimes)

Doesn't look as nice as yours but I can't stand cramped builds; my first computer I built when I was about 13 I actually physically cut myself on the heatsink (back when aircooling was a thing) literally blood sweat and tears went into it heh.

    Edit: 3dmark score: http://www.3dmark.com/3dm/11931466
  • Nice build but your desk needs some SERIOUS cable management. It's making me cringe.

Mind posting your 3DMark score and normal/highest temperature of the CPU?

Also in my opinion, you should wait for the new Pascal cards :surprised:

I really like your system, I had a full size NZXT Phantom case for my previous build and there was just a lot of excess space. The H440 may look a little cramped, but I was surprised at how well it fit everything, The only "Struggle" I had was deciding where to mount "two" Liquid cooling reso's but I think I was able to work them in just fine. (It was more time consuming then actual application.)

It is just a cheap 60 dollar 8 foot folding desk, What i really need is something to fit underneath it where I can put my consoles and just have the HDMI cable run up to my screen. haha.

I honestly wasn't sure what the new Pascal cards were going to do / be capable of at the time I built this system. Of course the biggest and bestest things will come out every few months, but I will update this post with my 3Dmark score, im about to run it right now.

Currently I have the CPU just running stock, but this card specifically comes out of the box already overclocked. I have tinkered with it and I believe its about 10 to 15% OC'd

Here is my score with my current configuration, I'll tweak my settings around to see what the best score I can achieve is

this was the full 1080p (16:9) 60Hz test

I cap my fps at 30, sometimes when I'm in a solo dungeon my TERA fps goes above of 30, but steam stay at 31.

Anyone else with a 6700k CPU that can play tera above 20 FPS??? any tweaks that were made or a certain self fix done? it would be of great help if someone could reply :expressionless:

Nvidia's New Pascal 1070 and 1080 are going to be $380 and $600 respectively coming out this month.
The 1070 is said to be better than a Titan X.

    It is .-.

And in money terms it is way more economical, 2-2.5x more powerful than titan or 980ti and less power consuming than Titan X
