Wonderholme

So I have noticed that some people that play this game do not read raid chat. Then they roll on the potions and ask oh what's this for ? (Not to mention it has been repeated like 4 times in raid while heading to the boss not to roll on potions.) So they ruin the cage mini boss and screw the whole raid group. How can you fix stupid in this game? There should be an IQ test before entering the dungeons. I just started playing this game about 3 months ago and I am already about to quit because of how frustrating it is to not finish a dungeon because some bad players don't know how to read. There is no reset either it just bugs out. Anyone else have this many issue with players that are just plain dumb ? I like the game hell I am even paying for the elite status and fun stuff but this is really not making it fun it's more annoying to deal with now. It wouldn't be so bad it the potions could be traded or being reset the potion guy.

the potion guy is resettable it's just very tedious to get it to happen

back when Wonderholme first came out few years ago the potions were tradeable which solved the issue of accidental rolling, i have no idea why they decided to make them untradeable now-- it's a huge headache. i used to find WH actually fun to run, but now... unless you're making SF (or running with friends who you know have an IQ over 10) it just ain't worth it.
  • Never had that problem yet.

But if that happens, one can go and solo the BAM without potion (only if more then 1 goes in, u need potions) ... problem will be if some ppl cant read again and go inside the cage :chuffed:

As the previous post stated, the potions are only necessary if more than one person goes in the cage. So if you have a fail raid that trolls you on potions, get your strongest dps to go in the cage and solo the teralith to below 20%. If they're strong enough to kill it unaided, well and good. If not, after it gets below 20% you can get everyone into the cage and burn it down. Sometimes though the teralith gets a buff that makes it regen HP at an enormous rate and also gives it monstrous attack speed and damage buffs, at this point you need the tank and a healer to keep the teralith occupied for 3 minutes until the buffs run out while everyone else just tries to stay alive, after which it is extremely easy to kill.

Yeah I have noticed to many dumb players play this game. Same reason I quit playing Work Of Warcraft to many dumb players. As a healer I can usually heal stupid but something like that I have no control over. I think I may just hang this game up and try something else. Any suggestions on something comparable game wise ?

Awesome thanks for the TIP I will bring my friend he has crap ton DPS. Appreciate the help.
  • Thanks everyone for your advice and suggestions. Maybe I won't have to drink a 5th of Whiskey before going in that place now =)

I just assume it's BHS's attempt to try and make dumb people learn dungeon mechanics (or at least have a death that entertains their raid when they go into the cage).

I wish, 3x potions drop for golem fight. Only 2 people get in. There are newbies, who just roll for the potion.

Yeah they have no idea what it is for but they sure will roll on it because they think all loot is for them. Love people with an IQ of 2

Friend caught me for WH and same thing happen.
I was having fun watch them die in cage...
Fail or not doesn't matter since... Teralith is a joke... so I just enjoy the show... floor tank show...

Yeah it sucks that some people don't read the chat. Similar situation somewhat a bit but we had someone who wasn't rolling/passing when the looting was on in WH once during double drop event. It took forever and we asked in chat so many times but the player kept moving around and not afk! When we got to the cage part, the person still didn't roll or pass anything but was moving around. Someone said that person may have the chat or looting bug but I don't know; I thought that person was trolling us because later the person finally said something in the chat. Because of this, our run was like 30 minutes more delayed. Imagine how frustrating that is when one person in the raid never responds to looting. Our solution was to make it auto loot but it wasn't done. Then again I don't blame much because maybe that person had some kind of bug or wasn't seeing our chat or something.

And yeah when looting for the potion, my 1st few runs I took it on my lancer. I remember my 1st run I had no idea about that part in cage and that we have to burn the teralith as fast as possible. The dps that was with me in cage, wasn't as strong dps so all the mobs came inside lol and somehow I survived. Second time I ever ran WH, I finally understood that part. I was put in cage again but someone else came and had way better dps. I went to GOD mode on my lancer and dps the teralith into oblivion. It was a joke really after I realized compared to my 1st run when I didn't know and then realized we were supposed to burn the teralith quickly and no mobs came this time. So yeah all in all I think it's a good idea that communication is very important but also being aware of it is also. If one person doesn't read the chat, it can be troublesome for everyone else.
