New player looking for a CLASS that can solo and pvp
hello
I'm new to tera coming from world of warcraft as the game is boring as hell atm so i tho i give tera a go as i always wann too.Im looking for a class that can solo and do ok in pvp and no im not looking for the "best class"i just like to solo alot and from time to time do some pvp.IF theres no class like that then i just ask what is class thats good at soloing.also do the gear in tera have the same stats for all? like in wow every gear has the same stats for the same class like i main a death knight and hes tier sets is the same for every other death knight same stats and all,is it the same way in tera? last is the Elite Status any good? thx all ya for any help:)

- Yes and no. Stat rolls will always have the same values, but what rolls you choose could be different from another player. In other words, there are no RNG stats (not yet anyway), but there are multiple choices for stat rolls.
- It's good for double dungeon entries, daily free consumables, free EMP etc.
There's no such thing as a solo class in Tera, as literally every class has a rather easy time doing all the open-world levelling content from 1-64. However group content like dungeons are pretty heavily designed to be group content, soloing a dungeon from 1-64 is pointless, time consuming and rather difficult for most any class except Brawler, a tank class.
At 65, there's no real solo content. There are 2 solo dungeons with minimal rewards, that are easy for all classes. IoD BAM's that are easy and quick for most classes. The main endgame content is dungeons, which are almost impossible to solo unless you overgear them by miles, don't mind spending hours to get no rewards, and use a lot of consumables.
Realistically, you should pick a class you want to play, because they'll all do basically equal in terms of solo content, and in regards to dungeon content there's no discrimination against any classes. Meanwhile PvP is mostly balanced with no blatantly OP or weak PvP classes.
In terms of gear, within the same class each character wears the same gear as anyone else of the same tier. Although there are some minor variables you can change in terms of gear stats.
For elite status, most of the benefits it provides are only useful if you intend to do heavily grind at endgame, or are already at the later parts of endgame. For a newer player the only significant benefits are the free flying mount and double exp while levelling.
