Hmm, i think gunners are not dead, i think they are one of the top dps

to do dps one has to have at list enough speed to move away from stupid damage saving iframe/s for serious treat. Not costa using iframe to move around and position themselves so they can backcrit

im doing fine in sshm with my gunner, and i have 140 ms

h4x :D any screenshots of a gunner that makes 140ms?

    duh 140 ms of ping

    wtb ping.. wait what?

  • Maa gaaad, I feel the same. I don't remember, maybe two weeks ago I saw that I'm dealing lower dps. Thought it's just a bad day. And it continued.. I don't know what changed, but I'm sure they did something to usss.
  • I'm pretty sure the movement speed you are talking about from you stats window is Non Combat speed. Combat speed stat is not shown anywhere that i am aware of. Try wearing swift and fleetfoot crystals, you'll notice the swift/combat ones don't change the stat but the fleetfoot/non combat do.

Don't remember the exact number, but Gunner had always been slow compared to other classes. After all the defensive nerfs I'm not sure it's entirely justified from a pve perspective.

I'm not arguing with that. After all rocket jump and rolling reload were a way of mobility. Yes gunners were slow. Now they are super slow

I personally don't feel any slower. For the comment about damage being lower, my damage is also roughly the same... Maybe you just think it's slower after playing Ninja? By the way, this topic was brought up last year too so it's unlikely their movespeed was nerfed twice or I would have noticed.

it just feels like gunners are staggered the whole time, slow between skills..sluggish
it's hard to describe but it definitely does feel different now.

Look ms was by armors i'm sure of it. Lancers, zerks, gunners -no brawlers yet. They all had 105 ms + bonus from gear. Yes ti can recall it was nerfed by 5 ones long ago. How come gunners are 95 now?

Go to low level area aggro a mob stand there in combat stage and check your m. speed.

You can see your combat movement speed if you go to your character window while in combat. A character has an unchanged base speed and a green + number next to it. It's a higher number while not in combat, and gets reduced while in combat.

I think, gunner is still one of the best dps. I think, gunner is still one of the better class to survive in most of pve dungeon.

Gunner is still easier than archer, zerker, slayer and reaper in pve. Gunner is just fine in SS pizza pattern. Iframe time is super longer than mystic and lancer.

Cage has 5 hits, gunner 2 iframes. Mystics and Lancers are fine cos they do Swith. Mystic 110+bonuses, Lancer 105+ bonuses. They iframe in emergency only otherwise they simply can walk

Gunner's combat speed has always been the slowest since when they were released. You just need to learn the class better.
Use scattershot (without recoil glyph) and point blank for quick movement without the need of iframe. You also have to learn where to stand so you can quickly move to avoid the pizza, instead of staying in the middle of a slice and try to walk out or panic roll into another slice. If you ever did fihm last patch pretty sure ss's pizza is much easier (and less rng) than that.
