Having x or y power (or any other stat for that matter) is but a minuscule part of the calculations made, the reason why even though it has higher power ends up doing less damage is simply because base skill damage + cooldowns are different between each class, not to mention gear itself is different with their base stats plus their respective rolls.

yes, but 140K attack with 200 Crit .(archer) vs 100K ( other dps) whit 140 Crit and has more damage than me? PLS

Because the skill damage. You must also count that into your math. If you have 100K attack but your skill has a base damage of 1000, you won't be doing that much damage. Count cooldowns as well. And if you have 70K attack but your skills either have 3000 or more attack with minuscule cooldowns, you will see a lot of dps.

Skill with each class along with individual skill of the player plays a large factor in potential dps of a given class. Two people playing the same class could produce a wide range of dps. If you're being severely out damaged by other classes, I can assure you the buff that Archers got, that was nerfed to only work at the back, won't change that. You should probably read guides, make sure you're positioning properly, animation canceling properly, etc.

3 years in tera and before season gunner or brawler ,I do not remember. I felt the change in my dmg . and I know there are many factors that affect the damage of pj dps. but I think old school noticed several changes.
  • Archer does pretty decent damage when we crit. If RA and PA crit 90% of the time, people would probably complain that we were OP. (I wouldn't complain, but I'm sure other classes would) :p

Nah, the crit chance buff is for PvE only, they wouldn't really complain that much xD
  • Like others said, you must count crit + skill dmg + skill cooldown, and you must also include player skill + player's ping and player's fps.

Some class are just severely ping dependant too. Like warrior for example, if your ping is over 200ms, you are going to get outdps by warrior in same gear with 30ms by alot.

I have seen good archer hitting hard in dfnm. 500k/s for crab and 1m/s for verno.

RA will crit 90% of the back hits and RF will crit 100% of the back hits after the buff, this 2 skills will be with RoA ( that will reach 65% crit chance) the main source of archer damage. (RF depend on your ping).
