    The buff is given afaik to make up for the lack of talents ktera gets. This is why it's essential.

    Assuming it is deliberate then only reason I can think of for this, the alack of gold talents and nocts compared to other region is to deliberately increase the grind.

    Thing is this backfired very badly with a lot of current players leaving or swapping to other tera regions. Exactly the same thing happened with EU TERA but luckily they finally realised their mistakes and rectified it. Still that cost them a lot in the longer term, and even if EME changes track fast it may be much harder to recover from it this late on in an MMOs life-cycle.


    Also as an aside as someone else hilariously pointed out - the low tier buffs we finally after so much effort manage to get to make up for KTERA talents can literally be ground out in KTER in under 72 hours. And of course we are still musing the best talent buffs here so bascially

    The real funny part is that we get the buff for hard modes but not normal modes, so RRNM takes longer than RRHM...

    Why not use crux crystals, or run the dungeon without priest or mystic buffs, maybe even race change and have everyone in the party as a baraka, it will be even more challenging that way.

    The problem is having to reroll and regear your character. But it is really looking like it is the better option to just move to EU for everyone at this point. Lately there player base is WAYYY bigger in EU, they get a ton of really cool and fun events, its easier to gear, they have more availability on consumables, they have a good support team, an actual dev person/team that makes content (the redesign dungeons ie SCHM, FIHM, KN), and a company that actually knows how the game works and listens to their player base.

    Well sure the total player base is smaller in EU, but they have less English servers (only 3). While NA is pretty spread out in 5 servers

    It will not be here in July I promise you that. Korea literally just patched it not too long ago and we are about 4 months behinds Korea.
    This is the same thing that happened during VSHM patch where Dakuryon's cage patterns hits you for 2 times, with the first one consuming your curse stack and the second hit killing you. Ktera fixed this before we even got the dungeon, but of course we still got the faulty patch and had to wait months till the bug actually gets fixed.

    Chill. We'll get the nefed HM eventually (Velik helper). If HM dungeons are easy on release then people will complain that the game is too easy. I'm in favor of delayed nerfs, this way both parties win. Ones that enjoy hard content get a chance and then others have a turn too.

    It's still relatively new content. Agree about the awakened vs non-awakened discussion, but if you're talking dps, non-awakened dps do quite a bit too (2m+).

    It's a matter of coordinating with your party for burn phases to get past that timer.

    As for the cage glitch and velik's helper, I wholeheartedly feel that velik's helper should be added the instant that glitch is removed, at the latest. Earlier addition of the power/endurance buff could be considered, but giving up and blaming things on not being class carried is a bit of a stretch.

    TERA's always had a balancing problem, but in general until we have Dreadspire, it's refreshing to me that my party wipes every so often and we don't tilt because it's expected. If the dungeon gets so easy, people would consider a single wipe to be a trap run. Imagine that for new content

    The problem is the content they're designing is easy but at the same time its also unbalanced for us since its designed solely with Ktera in mind with their Talent system, various consumables we don't have, buffs we haven't gotten, and universal 10ms ping for every single player. This means that not only is content generally boring and unchallenging but also at times unfair because were failing things that should not be failed in Ktera, like when the original Harrowhold first released and only 1% of the entire NA playerbase could ever hope to clear it for the entire first month.

    Things like this are unlikely to change as well because Bluehole simply do not care about balance issues outside of Ktera, and EME do not play the game on the level required to actually understand the problems facing the players doing endgame content OR the requirements to complete said content.

    Who am i kidding NA players are just bad and complain too much XD get good NA Tera DXDDDXdxdxXXDDDD.

    If it were actually the case that the content is too difficult for people to clear, either EME or BHS would fix it. (They do monitor clear stats.) It's obvious to all involved that the real issue here (at least with this stuff so far) isn't really about difficulty, it's about wanting to improve the reward/time ratio.     Well the hardest dungeon of current and previous patches have been extremely unrewarding for the longest time. The fact our clear times on dungeons are much longer than ktera and were only receiving the same rewards it doesn't feel good at all. RKEM was probably the only dungeon in a long time to actually have decentish rewards. The last real time loot drops were made rewarding was back in early 2015 when SCHM was out for a few months, EME actually changed the loot drops so people clearing it were actually getting a net positive gain in loot drops and consumables because previously they were actually losing consumables and money for running the hardest dungeon. You know what happened? EME apparently got in trouble for changing the loot to be rewarding and they had to cut back a week later. Like ktera wanted people in NA to recieve [filtered] only?
    So people want to clear faster so they can atleast kinda feel rewarded. But it still irks me so much we never got a such a integral system like talents, like why was it seriously never activated, because it sure as hell is in our games files.
