To anyone who has been having problems since last patch....

if its ffff:ffff errors or other codes, I would like everyone to try something just for the hell of it if you are having problems. Change your resolution settings to windowed fullscreen instead of fullscreen. I dont know why but i tried to change it once because of the problems i have been having and i havent crashed yet..... i was crashing every 10 mins or so in fullscreen. i will continue to play and see if anything else happens, but I would try this for shits and giggles......... idk why but its working for me

You're lucky to have crash codes report, mine are just crashing to desktop without showing any crash report. Likely to happen when switching character or entering another map, especially into battleground.

Crashing with no error is usually the game just force closing on you, no idea why though, but I used to have it (been like 6 months since I last had one of those) but would usually happen to me when logging in and immediately moving or talking to an NPC...

The crashing when porting to battlegrounds is something I had this patch 100% of the time, it would just freeze up and then crash but it would give me an error... seems a full re-install got rid of it though... the pain of having to download the whole thing again...

I did reinstall few times, but it never fix. Even I moved the TERA folder to C; and put it inside 'fast-access area', the crash still occurred. Some says to change paging file by adding or set a fixed its size, not a solution though.
  • Hell I cant even do that the launcher is 90% broken and even tho i path the game a lot of inis are missing cuz i cant get past the splash screen .-.
  • I will try moving the game to C:\ now. I have mine on D: allthough, before the patch it was on D:\ with no problems. My d:\ drive is faster btw in terms of rpms being faster so i assume faster data access. I will report my findings after moving to C:\ .... As for my earlier post, i do crash less on windowed fullscreen, but still having random closes in about 15-30 minute gameplay. I also tried the crimson beta drivers for AMD/ATI HD series graphics cards with no difference there either. Any other suggestions guys? I'll try anything at this point haha

When I mention about moving TERA folder to C:, it was on a single hard drive with 2 partitions, C: and 'D': partition.
If you have multiple hard drive then there is no need to do so. Just make your system 'page file' in another hard drive that is not OS's located hard drive. This method would boost a bit in terms of overall performance (for OS) but it is still not a solution for known and or 'unknown' TERA crash.
It is however, we did love to have your report about your finding.

Also please avoid beta display driver, they're likely to crashed than normal or latest signed driver.
As far I know, these crashed aren't related to display driver nor the graphic card performance but how's the game poorly optimized instead.
