Excessive 48hr Cool Downs on Entering New Guilds.
Does anyone else find the 48hr cool down excessive on entering a new guild? They merged the servers and this sort of mechanic makes it exceptionally hard for newer guilds to build or friends across guilds to reform. There is no rhyme or reason to it. I can understand a 12hr cool, but 2 days is excessive. Also, suppose someone is ready to join a new guild because their guild is dead or dying, and they have no idea about the policy. Can you imagine how upset they would be? Guilds are already competing for a smaller population of players and this policy effectively makes growth much more difficult. Additionally, it locks in players who are unhappy but don't want to find themselves cutoff from communication for 2 days. It isn't like the game offers Linkshells like FFXIV where a channel of friends across different guilds can all talk as though in a single group. Anyone else feel this is excessive?
