Not enough memor lowering textiles! HELP

So I recently built a custom pc, I have a gtx 1080 with 16gb of 3000 mhz ram. I checked my setting and both ram sticks are in fact working. Can someone explain why it is telling me not enough memory lowering textiles? 16gb of ram is a lot and so is 8gb of gddr5 v ram x.x

    tera can only use 3.5 gb of ram. the not enough memory error is because tera is bad. if you're playing at 4k, try changing to 1920x1080 resolution instead. it helps.
