New BuddyUp reward for recruits is (－‸ლ)
"Dislike change to content of "Token of Friendship: Invitation" from 30 day 100% xp voucher switched to 1 day elite status."
Instead of downgrading Invitation box, why can't BuddyUp give both instead? For example
"add it to lv 20 reward box for newbies to get a taste of elite status or perhaps add to 65 box so they can get a boost toward endgame gearing and farming but keep the 30 day 100% xp voucher for invitation box so leveling isn't a drag for newbies."
@RKC - If invitation box change was for veteran players then I disagree with the change b/c BuddyUp is for newbies right? New players don't have gold, social network ingame, lack powerleveling knowledge (BAM grind > questing) and resources (elite status, xp vouchers), etc. BuddyUp reward boxes ease all the points (gems for gold and mentor for social network) except now, powerleveling resource (30 day voucher) is nerfed. Veteran players tend to forget how genuinely frustrating and confusing it is to learn a new mmo. 1 hour goes by quick while bumbling around figuring out how skills work, game functions, locating things, questing, looking for appropriate mobs to kill, etc. So 24 hours elite is nothing to a newbie who is just starting. You can see where the 30 day xp voucher is worthwhile.
@tisnotme - That's fine. EME wants money but why nerf BuddyUp if Tera population so small? Buff it. 30 day 100% xp voucher, limited time weapon skins, 1 day elite status, limited time foot steps/hats/masks, etc. Make it awesome and fun so players enjoy leveling and open their pockets to get an outfit permanently or extend elite status. Maybe it'll make newbies ignore the 30+ min IM queue for leveling dungeons since elin brawler rush is over.
