  • Long story short, fully equipped pvpers wanting to keep their records from being destroyed or padded kick people who don't have the gear for SH. It is actually quite easy to get pvp gear, but it is greatly time consuming due to low cue pop for BG's in general. The event brought an influx of ungeared people who just want to complete the event, and now it's stimulated a rather large negative view in both directions. (the newbies see the pvpers as elitists, and to be fair quite a number are in SH group) (the pvpers see the newbies as clueless detriments to their group, and they are clueless cause they don't know the game, and they are detrimental to the pvpers who know what they are doing)

This is not everyone, but as it stands, it is the majority of the situation summed up.
  • im both pve and pvp with endgame gear (HO, quatrafoil, catspaw, etc / near max pvp gear, signature pvp inner, grade 4 pvp brooch, etc) and i wouldnt be interested in kicking anyone, I just want it to pop so I can farm plates haha. It was nice seeing shorehold active tbh, going to be sad to see it die due to people kicking and elitism
  • I think, there's a better solution here.
  • "I can farm plates"

People don't wanna waste their time in a loss SH.
  • Then they shouldn't be playing.

Losing is a part of any game, and those that can't handle it are the ones who need to deal with reality.

What do you guys expect? Hardcore tera players that don't want to quit because they spend huge spart of their life to get where they are now in game and new players don't want to keep playing because of very huge deep gear disparity to grind to have a chance.

Huge chunk of playerbase left too from level 70 cap so no one to do SH with.

Have to grind their way to max level pvp brooch and perfect min-maxed pvp innerwear somehow, lol

Personally, if I was a Shorehold Queen, I would just skip playing this event on that character rather than being rude and mean to newbies that just want free stuff. Buy a character slot, level it up (takes 3 days at the most?) and use that for Shorehold. Why would that be so hard? Probably take the same amount of time (plus you get the added tokens for leveling) than it would for all of the pve players to play CS enough to get PVP gear.

Heck, with as fast as all of the dungeons are popping now, you could level a character in less than a day.
