Things they could do is remove the limit of stacks in the bank, just make us have unlimited of one item in one stack and not 10k.

Removed tiered anything. there was no reason to implement tiered alkahest for +9 enchanting, bring back normal alkahest and refined alkahest. Remove personal alkahest, removed tiered MES and make them regular MES so i dont sit with 6 different stacks of MES (t7 t8 t9 t10 friendly mes and regular mes) Remove tiered spellbind. This alone is a huge improvement to bank space.

At one point in time i had 19 slots taken by noctenium alone.

I have 3 bank tabs full with costumes, so i hope for BHS's sake that the costume tab is like the one in BnS where you just store your costumes in a separate window, with a slot for one of every piece of costume in the game, and not just another cheap 72 slot bank tab where you can only store costumes, cus honestly, that wont do me any good. Sure i could clean out my 4th tab and destroy my past gear sets, but i dont really want to do that... + its for stuff such as extra crystals, reset scrolls, stuff to sell etc.

Theres just so much useless stuff in this game that could be bundled together. The new tier system for enchanting materials is flawed and should never have been implemented to begin with, feedstock is okay, but not alkahest, spellbind and mes. And the fact that it only stacks up to 10k is making it even worse

I also have no real storage issues. All my characters carry their few outfits and core consumables. My bank has non bound costumes and mats, and that's all. The tiered stuff was a kick in the nads made only and specifically to force people into buying bank slots. I assume that with a max of 8, this clutter will only increase to force even more buying. Expect more tiered everything in the future, like all forms of MWA and other higher alks. Tier 9 personal extensive alkahest anyone? The clutter will be real after this. This may make people make more accounts for banks, which BHS will use to say they have more players in the game as a sort of fake inflation.

Wouldn't it be easier, profitable, and more convenient to everyone if instead of just +4, they added the ability to add more? I mean, they want to crack down on alt guilds to force people to buy bank expansions, BUT they also limit how many bank expansions, so is the real goal of BHS to actually limite how much you can have? Dunno. There could be a reason why someone shouldn't have 10 bank tabs full to the brim, even if said player paid for them. They want everyone to buy more pets perhaps?

Though I understand you view point, as adding the ability to add more to stacks, "say unlimited stacking," which is in truth a beneficial thing for players. There still is not enough room, though plentiful it maybe if you do things a certain way. Also while it is true that doing achievements, or purchasing through the EMP store, or via broker one can acquire pets for pockets to increase storage space capability; it is still yet an inefficient way of catering to the players needs.

One may wish space for various things that they can't stack on such as, costumes, gear for other chars of future interest or brokerage even. Half of our bank system alone can take up the space for crystals one for weapon and one for armor, one for raw gathered or dropped crafting materials, dropped crafting designs versus buying them all the time, etchings and their materials. Even if we took the crystals out of the pictures, there are still the other aspects we may wish to consider such as those tokens we have saved up to eventually use or have used to trade in for those gears that are Not Soul Binding and able to be used by other chars.

In my opinion having for more bank tabs for my bank system as I do not have pets...."Rng is not exactly my friend with the over $200.00 USD spent for pets and felicity to not yet have acquired them...Not happy about that." These extra tabs will be a benefit for those unable to acquire pets. It gives us a benefit badly needed in my opinion. Even though this is a small thing....this is a huge benefit game wide and effects a lot on the good side of things. Think about all that stuff acquired from Rootstock..

My list of reasons for having these extra 4 tabs can go on like...forever. For me it is easier to buy those extra tabs than it has been to buy those pets that I ALSO want to have.

Also, why crack down on alts guilds (while more or less trying to re-invent the wheel) when we could be using BHS's supposed limited resources into even more actual character balance? And, why all the push to seemingly force soloers into guilds? Ever since alliance started, I see it as if the game wants to boo at you for not being in a guild. Kinda vexing...

Truth be told. I've used TS and hear the trash talk, all that thug language, the foul language, the [filtered] and sexualization of the game while in a guild. It is for this reason, I've stayed away from them, and going solo. Though being in a guild has its benefits, it's not worth my sanity and respect. I'm adult and want to play with adults that don't constantly think about what is between their legs.

With that sad, if the force a change in the guild system to not allow the bank system of the guild for solo players anymore, well then all the more reason to give us that extra 4 tabs of banks space I would be willing to pay for. IT SHOULD BE FREE THOUGH WITH THE $200.00 FAILED USD I've SPENT, PROBABLY MORE. I'm sure there are others that have spent more than me ofcourse. Further more, if you are in a guild, and you are not GM. you don't always have access to the bank system.

I agree, also that I do not know why they are focusing on the guild issues of things when they should be focusing on the other issues as has been stated by others as well. I just hope that in the end this ends up being beneficial rather than a hindrance.

    Snipcats

We are more or less on the same page about this. Anyway. As I said before, I shouldn't jump to conclusions because we are not there yet. But with this, I'm seeing a sort of mixed bag. Of course I also love the idea of more bank space. Who doesn't? But if it's at the cost of them separating even more items in tiers, limited stacks or whatever, I'm definitely not friendly to clutter. I'd prefer if the game allowed us more efficient item management, but throughout the years, we instead see more tier separation, more currencies and simply more stuff to burden our inventories with. And its getting a bit worrisome.

Yes, If they aren't going to give us unlimited stacking. I maybe a bit of cluttering. Then again for me it's already a clutter, but an organized one.

What I worry more nowadays is the whole tiered stuff. Why do we even need tiered spellbinds, MES and alks? Back then there was only one spellbind, one MES and two alks. Now we have tiers 7,8,9,10 of almost everything and like 5 classes of alks to use in masterworked stuff. While some things can be fused for a higher tier, some others like MES, cannot.

This has actually been one of my largest arguments since my return. I always get shot down like I don't know what I'm talking about, or my view point is irrelevant. To me it is completely illogical even in a competitive point of view for pvp reason or not, to have tiered spellbinds, MES, and alks. FEEDSTOCK I can understand truly, but the rest is nonsense. And now we have personal extensive alks along with premium alks. I honestly and whole heartedly feel that this was the most ignorant introduction.

Having these different alks doesn't put a competitive edge to the game. What it does do is cause an inconvenience in our banks. All these different Tiers like has been stated not only by myself in the past, yet others as well is a huge problem. And honestly even the steadfast token hopefully a passing test of a thing is ridiculous and pointless, brainless even to be introduced of zero value to the game to be honest. Just my opinion on that.

Even when I voiced my opinion about the tiers in the past, about their illogical approach and purpose, their unintelligent and ridiculous introduction to this game was put forth, it still shows merit even now with this upcoming banking change.

Yes I totally agree that this game needs to get away from this Tier system.

Oh, and away from the 10 different "currencies" too. I know each gets it's own shop you can open from nearly anywhere, but couldn't these be tossed in some sort of currencies tab? Then there's the unnecessary token clutter. An example, IoD tokens. I would have released a single IoD token and played instead with the prices. I mean, you can convert the tokens at a 6 to 1 ratio. Why not just a single token from the start? Then also there's the evil tokens like Goldfinger. These are the worst kind in my opinion. You cannot even bank them. I'd rant about these tokens more but this thread is about bank and inventory space.
