Why guilds get no base only the top 10???

It should be fair to other guild to be able to purchase a base on the surface and the tops take the sky sky castle

    Ever since it started, Tera tried to promote guild competition by giving something more to "Top" guilds. When the game started, it was more of a popularity contest in the form of the Vanarch system. Search "Tera Vanarch" for an explanation of that. Thing is that after the Vanarch system ended (most likely because it was so exploited) they decided to add guild competition and alliance, again trying to promote guild competition. From what I've been told, though, alliance content was also exploited, and will be eding/changing soon. Still, the guild competition promoting is why I think they gave sky castles to only the "best" guilds in a server.

    On top of that, in KTera they are removing it when their current season ends. I read in an interview of them that they will be looking into guild housing next, without the competition. guild housing for all guilds might come our way soon

    If they succeed in doing this it could draw more people back, if not then it will turn more off. Issue is guild housing was promised to the community back in BETA, was part of the sales pitch. Many where turned off when it got forgotten. I do hope they follow through with it.

    Here are the KTERA Patch Notes from June 29th

    Alliance & Crusade have both been removed in favor of the new GvG Raid system. This new GvG content is supposed to encourage guild versus guild competition in place of the outdated Alliance system and the current Crusade system. You can read more on it here and here.

    I'm excited for this patch to come to live, but I hope it isn't swept under the rug like Alliance & Crusade were.
