Game size, and download time.

So, I downloaded the original client through Steam, which took me about 1 hour for 35 gigs. After launching the game through Stream, I had to do another huge download through the launcher, which took about 5-6 hours. Now, I am having to install a patch, which is estimated at another hour. Why is the launcher download speed so slow, and is Tera really so expansive that it requires 70gigs of hard drive space? Did I do something wrong?

    My Tera folder is currently 38 GB. I used normal installer (downloaded via torrent), it's about 30 GB and then I needed only patches (downloaded via launcher). Don't know how Steam one works but it shouldn't download more than 35 GB+patches.

    Make sure the launcher is set to "Unlimited" download speed (in the tools menu). Last time I checked mine, it was on 1024, which for such huge downloads is walking dead slow.

    I downloaded the game on steam just now on a new PC i got and it took about an hour total and i can play already..sounds like you ran into some kind of monster glitch. Try starting the install from scratch i guess.

    When I first downloaded the game, it took about a full 24 hours. The downloader at one point even told me it was an estimated download time of 5 days (!). Luckily it didn't actually take that long.

    I know, you must be thinking I'm playing on a dial-up modem. Nope. 15mb cable internet. Nothing spectacular, but still, it shouldn't have taken that long to download. But it did.
