hola queria saber si alguien sabe o conoce la posibilidad de que abran un server latino ya que como les pasara a muchos jugar con 200-400 de ping no es nada comodo y menos hacer pvp, eso solamente gracias!

    Ya se ha planteado, la verdad es que resulta muy poco probable según la misma gente de En Masse, sobre todo si tienes en cuenta que otros juegos en el pasado han tratado de abrir versiones con hosting en Latam y acaban por cerrar porque la gente no gasta lo suficiente en el juego. Hay varios detalles que tomar en cuenta de todas formas, como el que las computadoras en el orden de capacidad que Tera requiere para correr bien siguen siendo costosas y el que en toda Latinoamérica la gente le tiene pavor a las tarjetas de crédito (con justa razón).

    I'm confident that the reduced ping is appealing enough to keep the server healthier than most of the current ones... however, it should be able to IM with the others as well, even if the cross servers have bad ping.

    The real problem is that South American ppl wont pay the same amount of money that EU/Na will. "Casual NA player" might buy 20 dolars per month on emp (to get.. what? 80k in game? lel) but at least in my country thatd be quite a lot.. I get 60 dolars per month to pay gym/buy [filtered] for college/meetings :waving:

    En Masse would rather make money than lose on an empty server, besides they only have license to publish Tera for North America.

    same reason why eme dont translate tera to frech and up server ( for canada)

    only in TERA EU, Gameforge was release and publish Tera in German and frech ( and they have their own server pve )

    oh man...if they open SA server i'd leave NA with my 20 chars 65 np..
    EME would lose like 30% or so of their current players.
    Like someone said, try to play with 200ms to see if its 'fun'. :)

    Another thing to keep in mind is most paying users in US and Canada either work or are kids using theur father's credit card, in Latinamerica most people under 22 don't even have a bank account. Some other games hin the region ave employed a cellphone credit transfer model instead of credit cards, but they're pretty much P2W games and for Tera to be profitable here the game would need to become exactly that... or at least have a model similar to Tera EU.

    Besides, right now SA isn't the most stable region to make investments in (neither Mexico).
