Insufficient Memory Crash
I first saw this when I died in Sabex Academy on the last boss and the rest of the party bailed on me. When I tried to Rez at the Safe Town, the client crashed like this and when I go back in on that character, same thing happens. Can't play that character, but others work. I put in a ticket.Error: 000a:0000
Insufficient Memory
TERA stops working when there is an issue with memory allocation. We talk more about this error and possible solutions to this error at the link below.
I've been playing another character with no problems for a while. BUT I just tried to fire up a character who is standing in Amadjuak TP and the same thing happened.
I've toggled down the graphics to the lowest settings and no change.
Others seeing this? Is there a way around it? Looks like a creeping failure that's eating up my toons one by one.
BTW I have a 16GB Core i7-2700 system with a GTX 760, 512GB SSD with 157GB free which may not be the hottest system in town, but it's no slouch. Oh, yeah. Yes I have updated to the latest graphics drivers, and like I said, one of my characters played fine for a few hours, but this one crashes. Is it my Idoneal gear? [Just kidding]

Amajuak TP - FAILED
Highwatch - FAILED
Bastion - Worked
Kanstria - Worked
I think there is a bug that is causing a failure if you try to activate a character in Northern Arun.
Seriously? Nobody else noticing this?
I think I found it. Trying the case on another of my machines, things worked without problems. Even the toon that died in the Dungeon. She was ported back to Amajuak TP and was fine. Oddly the Trading Post NPC there is standing out in middle of the town rather than in his tent. Strange.
So I think this problem is a failure with some graphics models in Northern Arun triggering a failure in the latest Nvidia graphics driver.
The working system has nvidia drivers version 353.82. I'm going to see if I can find this version - or something near it - and install that to see if that fixes the problem.
So if you are an Nvidia graphics card I suggest.
DO NOT UPGRADE YOUR GRAPHICS DRIVERS RIGHT NOW FOR NVIDIA
I'll report back when I test this case to be sure it works. Again, a system with Nvidia 353.82 works and a system with version 368.81 FAILS.

I rebooted and windows 10 installed some updates.
Now the 362.00 drivers work fine. I suspect that the latest drivers will work fine as well. But I'll wait a few days before going to the latest again.
I think the problem was that Windows 10 was broken due to the pending updates. Windows 10 was waiting for a better time to install those updates and somehow that was breaking the system.
So, problem solved, I think. Not Tera's problem. Not Nvidia's problem. Apparently.
I'll continue to play and see what happens. But I can log into play the first character that showed the problem.
How odd that it showed as a failure of the client on any character in Northern Arun and other characters in other places worked fine.
Very odd.
So looks like the fix is: sg
