    Dreadnaught is a good starting point. It's easy to get and pretty easy to enchant. I'd recommend looking into the Island of Dawn quests for some quick enchant materials and gear. After that you can start getting into some DFNM to get yourself some Slaughter. PvPing will help you with materials and maybe a little gold.

    If you want to read a Slayer guide here's one: http://www.essentialmana.com/slayer-pve-fundamentals/

    That sight will also have a lot of useful articles on gear progression and other aspects of the game. Good luck, friend.

    If you want to learn PvP on Slayer, read PvP guides also..the one KaaiYu sent is for PvE.
    http://teratoday.com/content/tera-guide/tera-class-guide/tera-slayer-guide-pvp-flowroro
    This guide is kinda old..but can give you an idea of how to do it, Flow was one of the most recognized Slayers in this game.
    Honestly tho, youll learn PvP by playing..no one and no guide will make you good because even if you know your class really well for PvP, youll need to know how other classes works and stuff.
    Since youre new; i'd say take your time to learn..its not so easy when you just started but you can learn pretty fast; just dont get frustrated if you dont feel good in the first week.
    Gl and make sure you have fun :)
    (Ask good Slayers that you see also, VO -place outside Velika where ppl duel- is a good place to find some PvPers and maybe you find someone who can be your senpai lol..having someone to help is always better than a guide)
  • Forget about rotations in pvp this isnt wow. Combos are always situational depending on your cd's and the enemy's.
  • ah the a lot guys. btw is there any guys for archer as well .thanks in advance?

    @Hello1738
    Its pretty easy to get combos on Slayer actually >.>
    Hit a stagger and you can use any of your stuns, stuns = combos.
    There is also the option to stagger lock for a bit then stun and KD lock.

    @MWA3C3TCDP I dont know any Archer Guide for PvP actually..just noticed that lol
    I learned Archer asking a friend that was maining the class and he taught me how to play it, i suggest you do the same.
    Make sure you ask about stagger locking while going into Close Quarters range, idk why but some Archers dont do it.
    If the person you ask dont show you how to use Final Salvo and Restraining/Web Arrow, look for someone else lol
    (Just remember that Archer isnt just mine field + over charged arrows)

    @Palochi thats not what i meant. Im saying that slayer "rotations" depend heavily on the situation and your own playstyle. After you get a kick, you have to factor in what the enemy is doing to determine how much damage you should put out before ms'ing. You have to factor in what cd's are up for the enemy because if you ht evis ohs ms, you kd early and are forced to blow an iframe afterwards or eat free damage since they get up earlier from the combo. Some slayers dislike using evis in a kick combo because it uses 2 kd's for a single retal, which makes kd chaining harder than if you skip the evis and save it for later. Yes there are bread and butter combos but repeatedly mashing the same combos without knowing when or why is pointless.

    @Hello1738
    I agree is pointless..but ppl need to start somewhere XD
    This is for someone who will start playing Slayer in PvP so thats the first thing they should learn since its the easy stuff, but thats also what i meant in my first comment by saying that the only way to learn PvP is by playing..there is stuff that cant be put in a guide or a message, not just situations and how to react to them but also "mind games" that can be a huge factor.
    But yeah youre right..i just feel like thats something ppl need to learn themselves because of how big it can get if you try to put everything in words ^^
  • thanks a lot guys

    There is actually a slayer guide out there by some TR guy that is way nicer than flow's old guide. I really recommend it if you can find it on the reddit.

    Here you go man, this is probably the most useful guide you will get. It ofc isn't 100% everything you need to know, but it's the closest and most up to date.
  • Make sure to ICB and die immediately.
  • If the slayer changes coming are interesting you may see me rework a guide on how to slayer but I hope that my source is helpful to an extent. It just doesnt have an indepth on eviserate and new class matchups however I did remember making a VOD on twitch which explained details to a finer extent.

    ... and ping. If your ping is higher than 100ms, the famous ultimate combo will not work.
