Another newbie On board
Hi! Completely new to TERA player here. I just hit level 65 on my Ninja Ascension Valley Server. I have a few questions before I proceed just to make sure I'll do things efficiently from here on out. Hopefully some experienced player here can help me out with them :pleased: I do intend to focus strictly PVE for the meanwhile until I am comfortable with my class and know that I have enough knowledge of it.
1. Should I enchant my Dreadnaught Set to +9 or +12 or keep farming better gears?
2. Which instances should a new player who just hit 65 should be running regularly? There seems to be so many of them.
3. How many Vanguard quests are you allowed to complete daily and what time do these daily quests reset?
4. Are there any other daily quests I should be doing besides Vanguard ones?
5. What is the most efficient way to farm level 65 crystals and glyphs? I'm still using level 55 crystals on my weapon and accessories since somehow I've only received level 65 armor crystal from a quest I don't remember.
6. What is the priority stats for Ninja class? Is it crit factor? power? attack speed? or something else? And how much of that stats should I be aiming to be efficient on PVE?
7. This is probably one of the most commonly ask question but what is the best way to farm gold?
8. About Buddyup, am I allowed to use it only once per account? Because I also made a lancer but I can't seem to be able to use a Buddyup code on my character selection screen anymore. It's a shame as the things you get from it are rather good.
9. Are there any way to obtain costumes from TERA Shop and vouchers to expand bank and inventory besides spending your own EMP? From trade or something perhaps?
10. What glyph set and skill rotation would you recommend for someone who would like to focus on PVE?
11. What does top line and bottom line roll means?
12. What is more efficient way to enchant items? By feedstock or gear?
13. Is there any website with a complete list if the not the one with most listed where I can view how the costumes and weapon skins look on different races?
That's it for now, I guess. If there's anything else a complete newbie level 65 should know, then please do tell me.
Thanks! ~

With Idoneal you should be able to clear Channelworks, Kalivan's Challenge and The Abcess (7man) easily. With Dreadnaught you should aim to clear Kalivan's Dreadnaught Hard Mode, Timescape (no one really does this but it is good practice dungeon regardless), Demokron's Factory and Forsaken Island. With slaughter you can clear every single dungeon barring Dreadspire Upper Levels but don't IMS them and instead invite people to your party. If you are a hardcore dungeon farmer don't do dungeons that do not drop
IIRC (not at home so can't really tell you) you should have 8 Vanguard daily quests, which most will do the Island of Dawn quests (I tend to ignore them cuz bams are boring), 5am PDT reset time.
Before alliance ends, do the alliance ones with a guild and get credits for PvP crystals. Even though these will be transferred to NA via vanguard credits, I still feel you should get them before that happens. Battleground daily wins (for corsair's stronghold, gridiron, fraywind canyon and Kumas Royale are also good daily wins, but if you don't feel confident in actual PvP then ignore grid and fraywind because most new players will lose ALOT unless they get lucky or get skilled and geared.
There are only two permanent ways of getting Niveots: Crystal Boxes and spending your Vanguard's Initiative Credits from doing your vanguard dailies. The crystal merchants for Vanguard Initiative are beside the general vanguard initiative NPC in Highwatch and Amadjuak Trading Post. Crystal Boxes randomly drop Niveot structures, so you can roll 3 for a chance to get a fine niveot. Do open these crystal boxes unless you are desperate for cash, a dyad niveot structure has no sale value but it is quite valuable in the long run.
For glyphs, basic ones are obtained from Sabex Armoury and Catacombs (they aren't level 65 dungeons iirc). The rest can be bought via Island of Dawn tokens or Tyrantblood tokens which drop from dungeons.
For PvE, All classes uses Crit Factor. No one builds pure power in PvE. Usually for jewelries you run Crit Necklace, Crit Earring, Crit Ring, Power Earring, Power Ring. Remember that all of these items have rolls on them, so if you get the new tier of accessories, do use semi enigmatic scrolls to roll them to the best stats (eg: 4 crit factor + 4 power for ring). The recommended crit factor for Ninja should be the same as Brawler, a min max Ninja should clarify this for me since I am a rarity that doesn't play Ninja. After that recommended crit factor it doesn't scale that much so raising power would give the most amount of dps.
For gold. I am the one person that advocates against raw gold farming for the sole reason that it doesn't truly help you gain the items in the game. Sure you can buy off weapons and stuff from the broker but eventually someone must've crafted it first. You will naturally gain gold from clearing your vanguard dailies and battlegrounds so don't worry too much about gold. If you are that picky, Player Guides has too many gold guides that I am not even going to look at anymore.
BuddyUp follows the policy of once per SERVER per account. Which means that if you like to join another server from scratch you can always get a buddyup code from a person on that server for the bonuses. The only other way is if the account is inactive on said server for more than a month, that will trigger the buddyup bonus again.
Most highend fashion will only be purchasable via EMP, and even if it were in the broker it usually comes from EMP. Usually events will drop some costumes which were older fashion, but newer releases always from EMP Store.
Glyphs are always dependent on the player and rotations are based on the class and sometimes latency to the server. The usual ones that people avoid are Reduce MP cost and reset skills if the rotation doesn't use it extensively/too weak to use.
Top Line and Bottom Line and be easily seen on your own weapon and armor. There are 4 rerollable lines (5 if you use an awakenable gear). 1 will be on top of the line and 3/4 will be at the bottom indicated by the hint that the effect unlocks at +3 (+5) <+6> (+7) +9 (<> denoting non-awakenable gear and () denoting awakenable gear). From there top and bottom should be self explanatory.
For enchanting most people use gear copies to +9 their gear and then normal masterwork alkahest+feedstock post +9 when you masterwork the gear. Remember that rolls still make you do a whole lot extra damage.
Demokron's Factory Normal Mode is good to run once per day since it gives you 120 tokens which can be turned into a Goddess's Tear to sell.
It is 8 per day, resetting 5 AM pacific.
Strictly from a pve perspective, no.
If you complete the story quest and some other tasks you are given accessory crystals along with reputation credits per quest which can then be used to purchase weapon crystals at the credit merchant.
Crit factor is the standard stat focus for dps.
One Demokoron's Factory Normal Mode for the tokens, along with Island of Dawn dailies for the credits+gold+tokens. Easiest way to make gold is to take advantage of events and sell what you get when prices go back up. You'll generally want more than one character though if you want to make gold.
It's once per set period. It can only be used when you're making your 1st character on the server, or if you hadn't logged in for a month or so.
You can buy them off the broker or trade with another person. All cash shop items excluding account mounts and pets can be traded.

Depends on your resources. It's easy to enchant up to +9 using gear if you can acquire the gear to do it that way.
You can preview most current acquirable outfits in-game using the dressing room. https://gyazo.com/0e67a66fa524aa65badc15c4c54a8dfd
You could also preview items on the broker along with any fashion coupon item by opening the shop. CTRL+Right click is how you preview things.
Another question, I can't seem to be able to use window mode properly. To elaborate, what I mean is that, I've tried to play around with the settings but it just won't fill up my entire screen except the task bar which how most of my games run in window mode. What's the proper way to do this? When I tried window mode on each settings, either it has spaced not filled by the game window on left, right or top side or its filled with very little space left at 1 side but my task bar is on top of it so I can't see the bottom part of my game where Shortcuts (skill bar) is located.
For someone who plays around 220ms to 250ms ping, which one should be my choice of class, lancer, berserker or slayer? I really want to play one of these classes at least alongside Ninja because they look nice and fun to play although do understand that playing them in such a high ping is not recommended, I still want to and would like to know which one would be the less harmful choice, PVE wise.
Is there any way to obtain 100% XP boost in game? maybe reward from doing quest or from an achievement or something along these lines? Since I've already used my Buddyup code slot on my Ninja, I won't be able to get that 30 day 100% XP boost anymore from it so I'm searching for ways to obtain 100% XP boost items in game for my lancer seeing the DPS of this class is naturally low, it'll probably take longer to level up compared to my Ninja which is a DPS class and had 100% XP boost which took 2 days to hit 65. The ones from broker are way too expensive for me and I'm not Elite member either so if there is and if someone could tell me an alternative way to get 100% XP boost item, it'd be nice.
Thanks ~
